As a support main I really started to avoid playing the game recently, because I literally cannot enjoy playing as a support specially against Dva and doomfist, it hilarious.
The super tanks just make life very miserable for supports. From what I've seen you basically have to save all of your abilities for when a doom or winston jump on you in order to survive. In my games I am seeing very little utility from supports because they can't use any of their cooldowns for anything than keeping themselves alive. And combining a buffed giga tank with a sombra on the backline basically means a free kill if they coordinate at all. You have to use 1 or 2 cooldowns to get the sombra away then the winston jumps on you and both supps are dead. And unlike before where teams could turn and run them off and save you, now they just stay until you are dead because they have next to no fear of dying like they used to.
honestly the mobile tanks are broken since s9. all of them extremely strong and surpass the ground tanks. they are like ground tanks that can also dive and be mobile and use get out of jail free cards. devs are not smart people and they lost the plot. i hope they learn and get experienced fast. it's embarassing honestly. rein is even more broken ngl. they try to please these idiot rein streamers and their minions so much that they broke the actual game.
yeah people will keep parroting this opinion that "dive should always be meta cause it's the most fun comp" like man even if it is the most fun as everyone claims, after some point you get tired of all the winstons and dooms, not to mention that tracer is played like every game almost since she's the most popular dps pick. I've had enough. And coordinating a dive isn't some super difficult thing as everyone makes it out to be, yesterday in a plat game the enemy team had a winston/sombra duo and the dive target would be immediately hacked and rendered helpless. Now, this isn't some unsolvable problem but my team's mental really exploded after 2 fights and at that point, what can you really do except finish the game and stop playing ranked.
@@prismaticpaul I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE, I thought I was the only one who hates dive meta with every fiber of my being. Last night I was in quickplay for some fun matches and was met with a full winston/tracer/genji/lucio enemy team. Like yeah a lot of it is skill issue on my part but I just wanna breathe. As far as tracer is concerned I still feel like her skill floor isn't as high as people say it is. Sure her ceiling is ridiculous but it's not impossible to pick her up and be somewhat useful, in my opinion. I feel like I need a lot more (mechanical) skill as ana to keep her off my back than if I was playing as her and harassing the support.
