Synthesis Picture: twitter.com/HDHaZmY/status/1732806312008782005 UPDATE: a few people mentioned the Stony + Spicy Slasher combination might not exist, I recommend avoiding this combination!
The thing about Gigacross is that it doesn't scale of attack, at all. Only level. So a level 100 sheet of paper with 100 atk stat would do just as much as a level 100 god with 1000 atk. Only traits that increase lightning damage will up its power.
If you're just synthesizing for gigacross, you might as well go for the Lord fo the Dragovians talent it has gigacross and gives an additional +20 attack
I think the Soggy slasher + Blowy slasher combination doesn't exist. I tried to synthesize a monster with Soggy maxed out and another one with Blowy maxed out but didn't get any resulting skilltree that would be a combination of them.
Hey Hazmy! Thank you for the incredible work with these guides. I'm trying the Ultimate Speller one but I have a question about the overall passing of skills you might be able to answer. As an example I had a heal slime, fused it and got a Snowmangler who has maxed out the Healer skill tree with 120 points. I want to pass that on to another monster, but when I do the points are reduced by a significant amount. Is there a way to keep your skills maxed out or do they always go down during fusion? Because I'm trying to fuse get my Dracky, Firespirit, Cyclown and Toady all up to 150 Virtuoso but its making it hard with it going down by a large amount each fusion.
You can only keep it maxed out if you fuse 2 monsters together with the same skill maxed out - otherwise you'll need to grind levels and/or skill points
Any suggestions for OK machines 3 talents? I have one that currently has maniac but I didn't build other good tree's into it so I have to back breed. Was thinking maniac/hair splitter/att 4? Thanks for the daily uploads!
@@sayance8 I think agility is preferred here so we can hopefully slide the first attack in. I personally do not think the S rank uberkilling machine is worth it with the loss of the 2nd attack.
Something I've noticed looking around the talent trees, the Elemental Ward talents have Castslasher as their final unlock - the skill description is "Reduces MP consumption by ½." If this works universally (not just for magic skills, that is,) might be a solution (if a slightly underpowered one) to the MP costs of Hair Splitter. Current thought is putting a Woosh Ward on an Überkilling Machine, to shore up a weakness and get half MP cost... but I'm not sure if it would be worth it yet. Assuming it works.
It should since in EVERY DQ game that has MP cost reduction it works on EVERTHING that has MP costs as long as the moves costs MORE then 1 MP that is since a 1 MP move won't be reduced to have a 0 MP cost when you cut it by half. Mega Magic/Magic Burst is the only exception if that SKILL DOES exist in this monsters game it will always cost 100% of your CURRENT MP so without 999 MP its worthless.
MP is no problem with my Overkilling Machine because i gave it the highest MP Booster, Maniac + The ultimate attack skill tree (my goal) + MP boost 3 (already have unless theres one higher)
Question! Are tier 4 attack and wisdom boosters worth it? Like I have Corvus and he has wisdom iv , and doesn’t seem to do too much more damage Same with the witch lady , her wisdom is basically 900 and still don’t see so much of a difference Anyone help !
There was an ultimate skillset that has all the vs types..dont ask me how i got it...but it has anti-slime attack, anti-demon attack, anti-dragon attack...etc. etc. etc. It's called, Pest Controller.
I have Hairsplitter on my Killing Machine and I have maxed out the talent points for it. However, when I enter a battle, Gigagash is the only attack that doesn't show up on the tree for me to use. It's not greyed out either due to lack of enough MP. I have enough MP to use it too. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I'd like to be able to use it since it costs 56 MP to use vs 80 MP for Gigacross.
Does anybody here know how the treasure chest dlc that gives you a treasure every hour works? Is it an hour real time, an hour of playtime, or an hour real-time if the switch is in sleep mode but only if the game is running?
Can confirm it's based on real time. _May_ mean you can cheese it with advancing the system clock, but always be careful with that kind of exploit - you never know if a game takes that capability into account or not.
It is nice that if you already have a monster you want to put fused/advanced traits on you just have to make that trait on another monster and then fuse it with the monster you do want it on and create the same monster. Makes things easier
oh, I thought all I had to do was simply combine a monster with spicy slasher with another monster that has soggy slasher to get freezer burner. I didn’t realize that you had to invest a certain amount of talent points in them before synthesizing. good thing I reset the game before saving. that would have been a waste of monsters.
don't think there's ever a waste in this game besides the rare shiny. even at level 10 that's already a surplus in talent points. to make it faster. with the next fusion. not to mention there's a stat cap for each monster. so the fastest way to get skills you want is to level a bunch of cheap lower rank monsters to 12 over and over then fuse them into your big hitter instead of trying to do it all at once.
Hazmy I'm not sure if u test this already but are fusion defense trees worth it i saw some examples that if u fuse them u lose the attack or wisdom boost for HP and MP specifically?
Does anyone know how I can turn a small monster into a big one? I heard it will take generations and need to keep combining the same monsters, but can it be done?
