Gigi has multiple vocal qualities that are each very hard to acquire and deliver: perfect pitch, on-point timing, high notes, low notes, vibrato, growl, silky transitions, proper diction and enunciation of vowels and syllables, runs and riffs, breath control, a variety of trained accents, and familiarity with several music genres and music eras.

Her "Better Days" version is a killer!

Riiiight? 🔥🔥🔥🔥she went up into Chaka Khan's ministry and killed it. They do this live on their YT channel and it's all live and some songs she hasn't memorized the lyrics, hence the looking down. The thingnwith Gigi is that she songs for hours at a time. You should check out the band, GG Vibes pranking her on "Bakit Nga ba Mahal Kita" oh and she's sitting down during these sessions too. Love the grit in her voice too Side note: these songs are such a classic and nothing like it today.

FTR, I am a retired, professional music critic, with 45+years experience. Nothing has changed my thoughts, on what my uncle told me - the Philippines did and still does have more singing talent than any other country.
