her threat wasnt a empty threat she made it clear that chattys mask was a serous no no and her tone was pretty straight up. Gigi might have mistook it as a nothing burger but that just shows how bad she is at understanding what people are telling her.
Yikes.... For those who need to know how the convo really went down, Chatterbox called to check in on Gigi getting out of the ICU, told her he was the one who put her there (she didn't know why she was there at all) and was glad she wasn't dead. Also said he lost his temper (hitting her AND Wayne) and that she didn't deserve to be hit with a wrench in the phone call. However, he did also make it clear he thought she yucked up in pulling the prank on him that made his boundaries get crossed and made him mad. (To be fair, I don't think Gigi knew this was a boundary of his at the time). The convo did have a typical Chatterbox yuckery tone to it, so maybe she didn't think he meant any of it because she thought he was being sarcastic BUT, he wasn't saying anything hurtful like she claims here so I'm not sure why she's mischaracterizing the convo to other people. Gigi DID know touching Chatterbox's mask is a huge deal when she did it though.
imo, i think it's not gigi straight up lying. i feel like angel purposely made gigi misunderstood what chatterbox said on the phone as... you know, the tone chatty always used in phonecall sounds sarcastic and not serious at all so gigi took it as him mocking her and she (in her head) exaggerating the take and told people how's the situation based on her version. i mean... all the drama in los santos always based on miscommunication and stirrer.
Gigi's claim wasn't that Chatterbox was being disingenuous though (which I'd feel is fair given Chatterbox's tone in the call). Gigi's claim is that he was saying tons of hurtful things, like he wanted her to die... basically the complete opposite of what he actually said. Even if Gigi was assuming he wasn't being genuine, that doesn't immediately mean he meant the opposite of what he said. I don't know... it still feels like she mischaracterized the call at least. It feels weird for Chatterbox to make a call like that at all and apologize. I think Chatterbox felt hurt by what she did but also felt bad about what he did, mainly because she is a friend of Ray's.... and also because Ray said she'd break up with him if Gigi didn't wake up. Gigi did wake up and a call wasn't necessary so he still went out of his way to make the call and is a weird call for him to make if he just didn't care at least a little bit.
@@DarkusZarvix i get what you mean, my opinion is pretty much the same as yours. i might just not word it properly. well, it all came back to her having pent up rage and emotion about overall and previous situations while chatty always taking things (too) lightly, esp. for normal people.
She really just straight up lied about the phone call with chatterbox, he left out the part he apologize and glad he's not dead(although sarcastically) and make him seem like an absolute ass
