The main difference between Stage & Complete is that in Stage you cannot use your own VST/AU plug-in instruments and effects and you are limited to our native sound library, sounfonts and native effects. Also you cannot use midi to send the info to another DAW or sound modules.
To what end? Surely you can use the midi editor to create a midi file which can be a song (and not a style) but Giglad's midi editor is focused on creating styles
