Nobody attacks folks for suggesting things to the wnba let’s be real. MPJ made a dumb suggestion. Entire NBA seasons average like 4 dunks a game. And yes MPJ hardly dunks … nobody watches the nba solely for dunking. Dunking is probably the last thing people think to see in an NBA game because it sparsely happens in game. There are way more 3’s and Crossovers. Dunks account for 7% of the total points scored in an entire game. So for a suggestion to be let’s lower the rim so women can dunk and we’ll watch more is a bit asinine lol. If we are being realistic. Folks would probably be better appreciated if they just flat out said “I don’t wanna watch women play basketball” instead of coming up with obvious bs reasons

NBA players don’t lack the skills. Sometimes when you see insane athletic ability be the reason for a bucket it’s easy to get caught up in that idea. The NBA is far more explosive & athletic so it casts a shadow on skills. But if you watch an entire game you can clearly see pure skill.

And now this entire incoming class and beyond has and will have crazy footwork because they’re actually skilled and work on it. Caitlin, Rickea Jackson, Brink, Hidalgo, Juju, Fulwiley,etc…

She seems to be a chill and nice person, and is very knowledgeable about the game, but she can sometimes get too emotional and defensive when these topics come up and I think getting push back on her stances from multiple people all at once (especially on twitter) has a lot to do with that. Just have a chill 1v1 conversation with her about this stuff, and it’s a whole different energy.

But, if You look at The WNBA, it seems like just about ALL OF THE PLAYERS, are just “ RUNNING AROUND AND DRIBBLING “.
