I've said this about Burns since the moment I first watched him/heard him. This dude might be the most honest/humble person in the UFC. You can tell he carries no weight around in terms of emotion or having to put on an act, he just goes in there and does his thing. Might be one of my new favorite fighters.
How can you not root for this guy? Improvements in his English alone shows how much he cares for the fans, exciting and tactical, the complete package.
Burns has all the makings of a future champion: the Spartan work ethic, the laser-sharp focus, the way he obsessively analyzes every single aspect of his style and that of his opponent. I really hope he gets to bring it home Saturday

You should notice, usman fights a different strategy for each different opponent. He clenched and tied Jorge up for a reason. He stood and smashed Colby for a reason. He knows their weakness.

Too many "supposedly" MMA fans nowadays like to just discredit champions who don't have the most interesting fighting style OR appeal to the audience. Usman, Miocic deserve their spot because they're the best at the moment, until someone beats them. Stop bringing shame to them

Both have strengths and weaknesses but I see Usman using his size and strength to his advantage. If Burns closes the distance and starts swinging he’ll be a problem and ko usman. It’s gonna be a banger regardless
we all are forgetting something, they been sparring for years....but am not sure they ever punch eachother in the face with bad intentionsi mean.....and that will make alot of difference....that first punch....on the face will tell the other person "oh shit,I thought I know him"
Burns is certainly more explosive and the more powerful striker. Usman may be slightly stronger in the clinch, but I don’t think he will be able to do to Burns what he did to masvidal. And I really don’t think he wants to strike with burns.
Love this guy. Only watched his last 2 fights. But that’s all I need. His personality and attitude is second to none. It’s impossible to not like this guy. He’s respectful, but he knows what he wants and how he wants it. His vibe is high and I seriously think we’re looking at the new champ. He’s hungry and you can tell how fucking excited he is to battle with usman because of how he smirks every time he is thinking about the fight when he gets asked a question. Would love burns to win. Gilbert got an awesome mentality and personality. Super calm and collected. He seems to be extremely mentally strong as if nothing can penetrate his mind. Very clear headed guy. This fight is gonna be insane!
@@watersandblue6001 Not exactly, Usman is gonna have to strike a bit more & with Burns he can't go into those clinch/takedown positions without caution cause of Burns bjj skills. So he'll have to set them up well with striking
Honestly, I think burns is a good guy . But I love usman , if burns was fighting someone else I’ll definitely go for him, but usman is my man. Usman going to win hands down.
