Gilbert was such a wonderful wonderful being

I cried when he said he loved her.I think it was the most moving episode in the whole series.

Ahhh Gilbert, he was my favourite. And even though Annie probably didn't return his affections, you could clearly see that she knew he meant it when he said he loved her. THEN THEY KILLED HIM OFF. Shame on you BBC. SHAAAAAAAME

When I was at school I knew this lass that called me "Gilbert" she tagged a picture of him on my fb page, years and years later I was just looking at them and decided to find out who he was. Sad scene.
