Awesome video Chris! Not sure if you're looking for more budget razors but I use the Van Der Hagen Traditional Safety Razor. I've had it for a few years and got it at Wal-Mart, don't remember the exact price though. Keep up the great content!
Glad you found a good one! I tried to find a rimei rm2500 aka Gillette clones for my $20 razor video I tagged you in. I tried a q shave and so Roman brand off Amazon for the rimei clones and they were terrible! There tons of these cheapy razors out there. Have you tried the lord L5 122L aka tech clone? I heard that’s a good one. I love the lord L6 but it’s more Merkur 34c head design then tech.
I was surprised with the Sterling razor, I have not tried the Q shave version. I wasn't risking it with the reviews I saw. I have not tried the Lord L5 what I've heard it's a really good razor. That's one on list for my next order, I'm curious how it compares to the Sterling, also I can't wait to compare it to the Vintage 70s English Tech that is on its way here I picked up on eBay.
@@CDinVT I’d love to try an English bottom tech. I have the USA one. Not sure if you saw my video but there’s 3D base plates for the fat handle tech. The 3 plate is great. Really makes the tech efficient but still smooth & low blade feel. The 3D file is free if you or a buddy has a 3D printer. I link it in my video.
