Cheers for the nice supportive words. Been a hard slog but with help from a friend and determination I am getting there. It's surprising how many friends and family who are used to me being bigger say I have gone too far, but others who don't know me do not find it odd or wrong.
Lacura shaving gel from aldi for the money is also excellent. So true what you say about shaving foam, not great for the skin and sits on top of facial hair which can cause tugging/irritation. Defo shaving gel is better to use but im going to try and source the palmolive soap stick as you recommended. Great video as always 👍
Thank you. Interesting comparison. My usual Gillette sensitive shaving foam has changed the scent to “original” but it is too strong so I’m looking for something else. What is the shaving blade you used?
The handle is called the great white and an Edgewell handle that used to be used for many UK home brands including Boots. The blade is yh GT6, which is one I had in the cupboards from years ago when I tried out the woman's subscription blades of FFS. I just decid d to us them up before I get more and part with some cash. What razor do you usually use?
I bought a can of classic sensitive foam from Gillette the other day and it smells awful! Knew it wasn't just me and they changed the smell. Its like pine air fresher for the toilet or something. Very strong too, almost headache inducing. Don't know how anyone with "sensitive" nostrils can use it. Don't know why they always mess up classic formulas. Was the same with Pears. Popped into LIdl and bought some Cien gel instead as can't stand the new foam anymore. Hopefully it's better
@@honeypower yes, thank you. I am glad someone else agreed Gillette foam smelled like toilet cleaner. I like the Lidl cream or ASDa shaving cream which is just a normal faint smell
I find Conditioner to the the best for my head shaves, leaves less irritation than Gillette Shave Gel in the Orange can! ...the last conditioner I tried was actually the Lidl Cien product.
Green.... for Aloe.... OR....the lack of Blood...yeah some of those gels just "foam" too much and leave more on the hand than the face. guess that's why I like Nivia because it just stays on finger tips really.... as for the shave itself I shave in the evening
