she’s so cute 💃 (please subscribe for more content lol) I approve jjjjjjjjjjjacksfilms to react to this (and openly encourage it and any other of my videos I love you johncinema)
A friend of mine is a retired BBC & freelance film cameraman- he’s worked with her and says all the crew really liked her. A really nice woman who gets on well with everyone.
not my first crush by far, but I did have a major crush on her after S1 of X-Files. I remember the photoshoot of her in the leather cat-suit. hubba hubba!
I met her many years ago when she lived in Malibu. She really is the nicest, sweetest, most genuine person. Terrific sense of humor and a great laugh. She's just absolutely lovely to be around.
I feel that she loves that comfy seat of hers very much! Loved her to bits since way back. Classy, fun and down to earth. Proof being famous doesn’t require one to be a total knobhead.
Even though I'm not a famous celebrity, I still strive to be my inner Gillian. I wanna be the likeable weirdo who is good at what I do but without being a knobhead.
I absolutely fell in love with her back in the days of The X Files. And she's even more gorgeous here. Hell, even in The Crown, being Thatcher couldn't totally destroy her loveliness.
Scully was too detached and cool for my likes in the X-Files. I like her natural self so much more! Also: you can see that she is a decent actor, because she was someone COMPLETELY different in the X-Files. 🙂👍
She may be the best archetype for likable celebrity in history. She's so consistently perfect that she must be the best actor ever, or maybe, just maybe, she is as lovely a person as she appears.
I’m an American and I knew she was born and lived in England until she was like 12, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard her speak with her original accent. And I love it! 😍
Just Delightful, and a classy lady and a top shelf actor from day 1 as near as I can tell. I’m sure they had a grand time doing that episode with her, how could you not?
I'm German and the German dub of her Role so does NOT fit her real voice :D Her German dub, despite doing a great job, sounds rather "raspy", a bit "smoker like"; while her real voice is so "cute" and girly - love it :D
@@EtzEchad Her parents moved to London with her when she was an infant and she lived and went to school there until she was 11. They kept an apartment there which they'd visit annually.
@@MistedMind I speak a little German and German tends to come off rough and raspy, so I can just imagine how that would sound strange. She does have a very soft and sweet voice in American. She made England her home away from home, so I suppose she had to adjust to the culture.
I never met anyone who didn't have a crush on her when they saw her for the first time in X-Files. Unfortunately I never watched this episode. Thanks for sharing.
excellently edited. most people who try and do that sort of thing make the clip unwatchable, but your edits were well-chosen, amusing, and actually added to the entertainment value. I applaud you!
you’d be surprised how many comments I’ve got disagreeing with you! this made my day, though. Much better than the one telling me I needed a lobotomy 😂
Class and Style with Intelligence and Beauty. Yes I do fancy/adore Gillian.x and her innocent look at the end of the video!! Like the editing. Cheer's 🇬🇧
Thank you for liking the editing. Someone said the editor needs a lobotomy and many people have said just a lot of negative things about my editing. It’s funny though when it’s creative haha
I've loved Gillian Anderson since first seeing her on X-files. Sounds like she's developed a English accent. Glad to see that she wasn't last. Thank you.
This is so weird. I remember her back in the X files ..... and she was drop dead gorgeous. And when I recently saw her I thought "Gillian Anderson? .... That's not the same one from X files surely". I was blown away as she seems a totally different person. And she is STILL DROP DEAD GORGEOUS.
Gillian Leigh Anderson OBE was born on August 9th, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. Her citizenship is in the United States and United Kingdom. Her nationality is American and British.
for those asking about the accent. she is american ex pat who has probably spent more years out of the US, than in. as typical with those who spend so many years over seas, she picks up the accent from being immersed in it. i am quite sure her accent fades in and out depending on if she is talking to an american vs a brit. (like a new yorker in florida who's accent gets MUCH stronger when he/she goes home)
@@R0bertP Gillian is bidialectal, having grown up in North London between the ages of 2 to 11. She only acquired an American accent when her family returned to The States. When in the company of Brits, her British accent comes to the fore, but she switches to her American accent when she's surrounded by Americans. She doesn't have to think about it, she has two natural accents, and she can switch between the two as naturally as breathing. With respect, I don't think it has anything to do with her artistic or sensitive nature, and has everything to do with where she was raised during her formative years.
@@R0bertP No problems sir. I'm 90% bidialectal myself. I always sound somewhat English in Ireland and somewhat Irish in England. But when I speak to Irish people I start using words I haven't spoken for decades.
enjoyed watching it, to be fair? what the **** does that even mean? To be Fair - when you want to add a favourable comment about someone that you have just mentioned, to correct a false impression that you might have given previously.
@@bigmatt2896 "I enjoyed watching it, to be fair". The man is talking total gibberish and needs calling out. As Newton's third law clearly states. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
