bassaddikt89 yeah. she lost her identity in a way. just saw her in Top Gear and she's done it again. im not here to judge but one has to decide who they wanna be. otherwise it's like buttering the public up. though it doesnt change the fact that shes hot like hell;)

When her family moved to America, they maintained an apartment in London so every summer she would go back to london and spend her entire summers there. So even after she moved back to America, she still spent three months a year in london, which kept an American dialect to take deep root in her speech. And she always considered london home and intended to return and settle down there. That didn’t happen right away because she acted but after x-files, she moved back to london (2002) and has been there ever since. She says that she switches back and forth depending on her environment or who she is talking to
there's so much ignorance. people don't understand that someone can be more than one thing. If you lived in different places and speak more than one language or dialect you know what is adapting to your environment and talking to people the way they talk to you. it's not like she is "losing " her identity. she can be American and British at the same time.
love this so much fun our interviewers in England just don't do it like Leno & Conan... Gillian amazing as ever & Leno's impression "rubbish" is so funny too... but does he know we don't all sound like that...??!
