Journalists have been allowed in the last couple of months to actually scrutinise tories. The tories obviously are not accustomed or prepared to be dealing with anyone who is critical of them of more knowledgeable than them. It could have been done since day one. Because as you have just seen if Labour say they are increasing tax it isn't a vote winner, the Tories say they are putting up tax even when they are not. There is lots of money if priorities are right and we don't build railways lines that don't go anywhere.
