Not everyone does drunk well, and Scott Peterson KILLED this scene. He added just enough "extra" without overdoing it. The almost tearful laugh following "...I am nothing but an unwelcome burden..." was perfection, and makes me tear up almost every time.
Jess cared about Luke, he was just prideful and Luke make him felt guilty and he didn't like that. So he said crap. What Jess does best. But he loved Luke as much as Luke loved him, Jess just had a harder time showing it.
@@danielastark Jess was neglected by his parents and Luke was probably the first person to show Jess real unconditional love. I'm not team Jess, but I can empathize with his situation and appreciate how he turned his life around.
@@AndrewKolotyliuk that's doeamt mean he can be rude to people who are trying to help him does it. Jess is a disrespectful punk who needs to slap for his attitude
@@AndrewKolotyliukYes! Did not like how he treated Luke at the beginning or how he essentially broke up Rory and Dean but glad he turned himself around. I believed he truly cared for them, but had a bunch of stuff he needed to work through before being able to properly have a relationship with them.
@Kukkamultatytto i think the only reason people like jess is because of "milo ventimiglia blindness". because milo yes is gorgeous and a darned good actor which is why he;s able to play such a jerk but except for two episodes in season 6, jess is a rude, thoughtless, self-destructive punk who cares for no one but himself and if people justify how he treats rory, how do they justify how he treats luke? and yet most people would rank jess as the best of rory;s boyfriends when he was obvs the worst
It's riskier to be in a relationship, and these are two diametrically opposed personalities. Love may conquer all, but it's more difficult to get to an ease with those difficulties in place.
@@alessandram9367 Not sure if you are familiar with the brand, but Barbie is a brand of doll for girls to play with, along with her younger sister Skipper, and her guy Ken. There are all sorts of Barbie products, including bandages apparently(Band Aid is just one of many brands of bandages). Lorelai used one or more Barbie bandages when attending to the cut on Luke's hand. It's just kind of funny that in the middle of talking about something else, he throws in the fact that he is currently sporting a handful of Barbie.
Love girlmore! Luke beeing drunk is not often. Thanks for this upload! I going to share your channel; ) please make more and keep up! Cheers from Germany!
It's a TV show, it doesn't "prove" anything, especially not about "most girls." This whole "all girls like bad boys" bullshit is just a made-up myth by guys who don't get laid (the good old "nice guy syndrome"). Personally I thought all of Rorys boyfriends were terrible, but that's because she was written as pretty spoiled, with a princess complex to boot. Naturally, she'd be attracted by douchebags who seemed "cool." Jess was good at pushing Rory's buttons, that's what she liked about him.
Drama reflects and amplifies human traits. Generalizations do suck, but a grain of perennial truth does remain in them. That myth is awfully convenient for butthurt boys who got shot out of the saddle, but there is a legion of girls who go for 'bad boys', either because it gives them a project or a quick release option. Not every girl is looking for a relationship. Immaturity is frustrating.
Luke, you hide from Jess the fact that his father came to see him and that you threatened Jimmy to leave. Yet you get upset when Jess says you're imposing and judgemental when he tells you to stop trying to fix everyone else's life? (And for the record, me and my father don't get along pretty well. But if anyone ever tries to meddle in my relationship with him, I pull their eyes out.)
Actually it was canon from episode 1 that they were planned to be together. The people working on the show even confirmed it on many separate occasions 😁
Ever since season 1 it definitely showed they have an Attraction towards each other ,it wasn’t just all of sudden their have been many moments where they show that like each other but they made into a slow burn. I would understand if it was all of sudden like other shows like Austin and ally where in the beginning of seasons they show no signs Or moments that they like each other so when they finally got together it seemed all of a sudden
@@Jenny-td3bl First of all, I do not even remember saying this two years ago because I have the exact same thoughts now. They were better off as friends. Secondly, I know that Luke loved her since the beginning, he even said that he waited seven years to be with her. I did not say that their relationship was “all of a sudden” I said that they were better off as friends.
