yeah they did Lane dirty when she ended up with Zach, had kids and never got to do an official tour with the band before they disbanded. apparently Dave & Lane were suppose to be in for the long haul, but then he left for the OC.
I think we can all agree on this: we pretend that lane and Dave get married or date or whatever after he comes back from college. Lane never dated or looked at zach in any other non band mate way and she finally got something great out of life because she deserved it.

@@ruthport8375 So Dave stayed up all night reading through the Bible and couldn't find the passage. Mrs. Kim says it's from Shakespeare's Henry VI, but commends him on his Bible reading. She says they can go to prom but cannot get married(not that he asked). That passage is King Henry speaking to a man who was blind but can now see. He reminds the man to thank God daily for giving him sight. She is basically telling him to appreciate her daughter for who she is, as by taking an interest in Lane he has seen the light.

Did the writers ever consider that Dave reading the bible in one night could've been overlooked with the magical powers of Google and the Internet? Oh well. Their way did have more of a comedic effect.
