Do not forget - there're stronger Li-Ion batteries availlable for the Zhiyun Wee Bill S ... from 1660mAh to 3200mAh for only 2,34€/each! - you can use the same charger for this batteries too ... it's a mindhack.^^
@@PeterMakholm Hey it's a pleasure to me, even if I was on the original battery capacity wrong, because it's at 2.600mAh! How ever, there're 2 compatible Li-Ion batteries on the market, that will fit the Wee Bill S, because this battiers has "Button Tops" - so this declaration is very important on the batteries. The size (hight + thickness) is also important, but they should fit the batterie-cage of the Wee Bill S. 1) LG INR18650-M36 (3,6-3,7V) with 3.600mAh Li-Ion at ~9,45€/each piece 2) LG INR18650MJ1 (3,6-3,7V) with 3.500mAh Li-Ion at ~8,90€/each piece It's only 900- till 1.000mAh increasement, but the Wee Bill S works with two batteries, so it's a great increasement at all.
I would agree, but because the RSC2 doesn't have swappable batteries it's not my gimbal of the year. RS2 modular design is perfect, definitely would recommend it over the RSC2 specially if you keep it for years.
my opinion is RSC2 always saving my ass when I shoot wedding for almost 10hrs and shoot a 5hr prenup and still have a 20% battery left maybe a6500 and a7c are the best choice for this gimbal. best gimbal for me.
Since the SmallHD 5 inch is discontinued what would you recommend that would fit on the DJI RSC 2 on the side arm like you have set up? Also what battery does it take? I see you use Anton Bauer but what size. I tried to look for links in your description for these items but don’t see anything.
I own a weebill s, a weebill 2, a crane 2s and crane 3s, also I have worked with Ronin RSC2, and the crane 3s is so far the best gimbal, it has a learning curve, but there are nothing in another gimbals to envy. Just when you need to go into small places isn't the option, other way this one is the way to go. I love to shoot with telephoto lens and is the smoother of all I have tried. I think that you could take away that award, I don't see any gimbal now which would deserve that mention, and defenitly the crane 3s isn't, to me it must win the best gimbal.
new subscriber... i'll be damned... content without the fluorescent strip club lights! love the look my man. you're a breath of fresh air. thank you. -colton
Zhiyun weebill S "not best stabilisation??!!" So why on earth I would need it to even consider putting in my bag? Looks like promotion video. Btw Zhyiun crane 2s has very low review score
GREAT VID PRO!!! YOU ARE ON YOUR GAME... totally agree with your selections with one silly caveat: not a fan of carrying/buying batteries with all the long lasting Lithium units on the market. So I think I gave a bonus point again to the DJI-RSC2 for having a long lasting and quick charging battery
Hey Peter! Interesting to hear your picks in each category. I also have the RSC 2 and while I agree with you on the quality and useability of the gimbal, I do experience some form of micro jitters with it. Even on a perfectly balanced gimbal with multiple firmware versions tested. Others have reported the same thing (RU-vid has a few example videos of this). Can you confirm you've experienced it as well? I run my setup without IBIS because of the unnatural stabilisation. It seems this is just a thing of DJI gimbals in general?
Micro jitters is a thing that you can experience with any gimbal setup. The jitters is often not from the gimbals stabilisation but from the individual setup. It is often because the camera only have one contact point with baseplate. If i experience microjitters. adding a lens support often does the trick. It secures the camera better and ads another contact point. Another thing that also creates microjitters is that the operator doesn’t walk smoothly enough.
@@PeterMakholm Thank you for your response! You are absolutely right about your points. Problem is, my Weebill-s with same setup never experienced any of these micro jitters, I only had problems with the horizon not staying level and the poor built quality on the Weebill-s
@@PeterMakholm do you think we can see Weebill s2 with LED light and Microphone expansion like we see on the m3 with bigger touchscreen screen but keeping the slung mode and removable battery of the weebill S. And hopefully with a better grip like in the m3 with no button on the grip. If they do that for 500$ CDN they could win the best value awards next year
Fede videoer du smider op 💪💪 Btw. I am considering to buy my self a zhiyun crane 2s for my Nikon D500, but I can see there is some compatibility issues, how much do you use the focus function on the 2S? Is it possible to make decent videos without remote controlling my camera on the gimbal? I might be able to mount my phone on the 2S, to use something like snapbridge or qdslrdashboard, what are your thought on this? Will you recommend to buy a sling grip for the 2S? Or is there anything else that you would recommend to buy as accessories on this particular gimbal? Thanks in advance 🙏🙏
Jeg takker mange gange. ✌️ The Crane 2S is a good and stable gimbal. Connectivity issues is not something I see as a problem. I never connect my camera to the gimbal. I like to adjust the settings from the camera. I don’t connect my phone because there are too many issues with setting it up and it loosing power or connection. I always use a 5” monitor on the side handle. I flip the crane 2s instead of having a back handle. I hope you can use this info.
@@PeterMakholm Okay that makes a lot of sense, but when maneuvering buttons on the camera while on the gimbal, will that movement on the camera affect the motors on the gimbal it self?
@@PeterMakholm All right, thank you very much 😁 i think i will buy it then 😁 Looking forward to try out a gimbal, do you think it can handle a Nikon D500 with a 70-200 f2.8 vrii ? I mean if it can handle dual cameras this should be nothing 😅
