The conductor Eímear Noone, is actually best known for her award-winning work as both a conductor and composer of video game music. Noone's composing and conducting work includes 26 film and video game titles, including being the original conductor of Overwatch, Diablo III, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, and not least both a composer and the conductor of World of Warcraft and its expansions.
She had been conducting Blizzard Game OSTs for more than a decade. Also has some pieces composed for WoW Warlords of Draenor, the biggest of them being Malach - Angel Messenger. You can hear it among others in the Auchindoun dungeon in WoD.
I love how much they are all into it, especially the conductor. And right at the end she is proper going for it and it cuts to the violinists and one of them is smiling ear to ear. :)
that woman doing the vocalizing also is on the Danish Symphony's version of 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'; both she and the orchestra do a marvelous job.
The DNSO or DR1 (and National) Symphony Orchestra is the Danish equivalent to the English BBC1 Symphony Orchestra, so it's top quality public service. If you make a deeper dive, you will also find that they have the same kind of high production standards to make youth and children like this kind of symphony orchestra music for educational purpose to "nurture" their development.

The Orchestra was "born" on the 28th of October 1925!.......... So next year is the 100th birthday and knowing DR (I am a Dane), they won't waste a good celebration. Maybe something big is coming, who knows? Keep an eye on their homepage.
Halo one of few games where i play with music on. Normally i turn it off quite fast, or atleast tone it down to like 5-10% volume. I often find it repedition in many games. Or straight out distracting when i try consentrate or hear an npc talk.
Yeah, I was there in the audience for this concert, and half the time I was just watching her. She was just sooo into it, clearly very passionate about this kind of music. Not all conductors are as charismatic as her, that’s for sure. She’s also a composer. She did the score for one of the World of Warcraft expansions which they also performed for us that night.

This is great, I might be a bit biased since I am from Denmark. The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, have from time to time a theme night, its not often but it have happen a few times. They have done Western theme, (the good, the bad & the Ugly, "For a few dollars more" & Once upon a time in the West). As well as a Star Wars night, An Agent night (James Bond night), A Fantasy night (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings), A Sci-Fi Night (Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Star Trek), A Mafia themed (Godfather, The untouchables,). I don't think they have had a separate Star Wars night, it was part of the Sci-fi night. By the way they are doing a new Galaxy (Sci-fi) night in August.
