Absolutely one of the Best Western Movies ever made ! If you have never seen it, DO IT! Then the music will bring you back to the movie. Very powerful.

One of my favorite film scores by Ennio Morricone, the man Genius who wrote the scores for the full Man with no Name Trilogy, as well as one of my favorite films Cinema Paradiso and so much more

Yeah, she is known to be a very good Mezzosoprano. She is a freelancer, so you can hire her and if your wallet is big and fat, you can hire the concert house too 🙂 EDIT: The Orchestra was "born" on the 28th of October 1925!.......... So next year is the 100th birthday and knowing DR (I am a Dane), they won't waste a good celebration. Maybe something big is coming, who knows? Keep an eye on their homepage.

Let me tell you, that the whole "The Morricone Duel" concert is amazing. After finding the same two songs like you on RU-vid I immediatly bought the BlueRay and have not regretted it ever since. Apart from Morricone scores the setlist also includes some pieces from other composers eg. Nino Rota's The Godfather theme. They are all good, enjoy it!

and an Italian director too. I visited the Cinecitta studio in Rome where many interior scenes were shot.. I believe the outdoor desrty shots were in SE Spain where it a desert much like Nevada/Utah. No Saguaro so it obviously couldnt be Arizona

That movie is one of the best I have ever seen, perhaps even - the - best. I say movies, not just westerns. And I have seen way too many movies not to know what I like. The score alone is haunting and fantastic, and coupled with the movie, it would be difficult to top it. Then they added the plot and actors, the cinematography and direction.

✨✨Great reaction. Total agree - we "dont listen" to the soundtracks as the masterpieces they often are! The Danish National Symphony Orchestra makes these great Tribute koncerts - Space, fantasy - even Computer games tracks and more, which you also can find here om RU-vid. ✨✨

I imagine that it is hard to react to something this glorious. Mostly I'm glad that you reacted to the DNSO playing something besides Good, Bad, Ugly. But why was your channel's theme music omitted? I really love it and the associated memories of some really good reactions.

Ughhhh. That harmonica always throws a wrench in my gut. If you haven’t seen the movie then you should really consider it. Matter of fact, go and watch all these old spaghetti westerns during that time period. Masterful cinematography, acting, scenery and story line!!!!! They don’t make like this no more

Sorry, but I just don't give this music or the movie ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST the same acclaim as THE GOOD,THE BAD AND THE UGLY. They are not even on the same plane of influence. The movie just DRAGGED on and on with that stupid harmonica whine. Henry Fonda as the bad guy, a terrible casting choice. Any of Clint Eastwood's "Man With No Name" roles was better than Fonda or Charles Bronson in that movie.
