An AMV video for Machinae Supremacy's "Gimme More" hyperedited by the talented Vadim! We thought this was so awesome it should be the official video for this song. Enjoy! Vadims RU-vid Channel: / opiumvidok
My best friend was killed in 2017 and he had shown me your band on 2014 or 15 but he played all this all the time. I love your music when I'm feeling down about him. Ps Ik it's a cover from britney spears but this is way better.
@@fun-sizedalchemist4748 I kinda missed the point aswell but I had a good laugh with it to be honest hahahah (I also share the same emotion of appreciation-awesomeness because of this fact, don't take me wrong)
PewPewv123 Artists do it all the time, if they are not making money from the views of this video and they use it for entertainment purposes, and give credit to the people who made all the anime's as well as the person who made the video then what could be done? I could understand if they are making money of THIS video, they would surely be open for lawsuits. It's no different than anyone posting and AMV on his or her channel.
PewPewv123 If that were true, this song wouldn't exist. Fair use allows for this kind of thing. It's also what allows people to do cover versions of songs without having to get permission from the copyright holder. All Machinae Surpemacy have done is say that they really like this particular AMV and that it is their official video for the song.
To those curious, the animes in this AMV are: A Certain Magical Index Bakemonogatari Black Rock Shooter Chaos;HEAd Gunbuster 2 (Aim for the Top! 2) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Kirameki Youko Box White Album
This video was my first encounter with MaSu, since then i was listening to your music because its great but seing how you guys declare a fan made amv as your official video? oO Awesome!
i was looking the original video of this, looking for unedited songs. got confused because always get redirected to same amv. fucking laughed when i read the description. bravo man, you are the best!
Please, someone tell me, was Machinae Supremacy put together as a bunch of nerds in high school that played a lot of MMOs and watched a lot of anime, but could play instruments really well? Cause if so that's amazing.
basically what happened was that the singer Robert Stjärnström found a Sid station in some store. So he bought it and brought it home. And later he had over some friends: namely Kahl Hellmer and Jonas Rörling (they were already thinking about making a band but this is when they decided to do it for real) and they started playing around with different instruments and the sid station and basically discovered, holy shit this actually sounds pretty damn good. So they brought in some more people to play the drums and keyboard and during the summer of 2000 they recorded their first song under the name "cryosleep"
Let's not forget that the SIDstation is powered by the SID Chip, Heart and soul of the C64, Crowning synth of Awesome and- Well, you get the idea. And if you don't just check out any compilation of SID tunes anywhere. But yeah, Early MaSu includes the SIDology Trilogy, (Approx. Half an Hour of Medley-ed SID Tunes) And Giana Sisters, which led to them producing Half the Soundtrack of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams a few years back. And they grew up in the C64/Amiga Era as well.
man no matter how often i listen to your songs it has been amazing and damn it has been 8 years already?? damn loved to listen to this while i drove my bike back in school days
Congratulations to the wonderful being who put this video together all those years ago, and kudos to MaSu for respecting their fan base enough to make this the official video!
The animation in the 90ths shows is so fluid and skillfully made. Now it's cheap CGI whenever possible. In any case, this particular AMV is probably the best thing since that Evangelion "Engel" video.
this was a hype as hell cover! coincidentally britney also had a music video in the style of anime for her song "break the ice", so the logical next step would be for an official music video be a literal amv
Это шикарно, автор молодец, MaSu как всегда на высоте! Я так и знал что этот клип должен стать оффициальным. This is awesome, well done author, MaSu as always on top! I knew that this clip should be officially.
@Jaricko sorry to answer u so late..yes,railgun and index 1 are parallel to each other,,index 2 is the continuation.u'll see though, yes, that at some part one of the two goes a bit forward..well,it's not like they are ep. to ep. exact, but more less, they're at the same time..we must sue the author or director for confusing us :p
1. It's not stealing 2. This band is on the front page of the pirate bay so I kinda doubt they mind 3. Nice to see another Dan Bull fan on the internet :D
In order of appearence: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann- Yoko but in her 's.t.a.r.s' music video appearance (most of the vid), Black Rock Shooter (0:15 - 0:24), Bakemonogatari (0:28 - 0:39) (1:14 - 1:21) , Toaru Majutsu no Index (0:55 - 1:10) (1:27 - 1:55) , Gunbuster: Aim for the Top 2 (1:56 - 1:23), Hope this clears things up
I suddenly found myself singing this song again, and i was like damn it been ages since i heard this. Still a fucking banger! So glad to find this again!
You wanna know what real art means? Taking a song that consists of two lines of phrase, only sing "Gimme" for the rest of the time and still making it awesome! :D
@@Phyton123 Hi, and thank you for trying! But no, neither of these has The "more" part. When they sing "Gimme gimme" there was a woman (maybe Brittneys voice) singing "More". In these versions there is Just a digital sound after the "gimme gimme" part.
@Dion101dixie Not to mention, they actually respond to emails as well. I talked to these guys way back in 5th grade asking if i could use one of their songs and it turned into talking about video games with Robert lol Last year i shot them an email and Robert yet again replied lol It feels good to actually get replies from a successful band.
nah this one is much better. I feel the music within the video while yours is like the music is separate from the video. still pretty good though. I'll give you that.
the solo at 1:24 is so fire, like i first heard this when it first came out and i still think about it all the time. this cover absolutely destroys the original, no contest
So are you saying this is not the official video? I can see your argument i suppose due to the fact that this video was kinda made with no intention of being the official video, but if the band says it's their official video, then i would say that it is. If you are not say that this video is nto official, please disregard what i said.
