Gimmelwald Switzerland - Rick Steves Walk - Jungfrau - Lauterbrunnen Interlaken - Swiss Traveling 

This beautiful and scenic walk follows Rick Steves' city walk route for Gimmelwald, Switzerland as laid out in his 2024 Switzerland Travel Guide. We do not give you the information that Rick Steves' gives in his guide book, but we recorded walking the route. The walks starts at the cable car station in Mürren and proceeds along the towns lower road. Gimmelwald is one of the most picturesque and beautiful alpine villages in all of Switzerland, and is well worth a visit by all tourists to the Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen areas. There are few examples of true Alpine villages that are as pristine and unblemished as is Gimmelwald. Make this a top spot to visit.
