I live in switzerland and things like that are not rare in the mountains. For me its so normal but when I think about it I realize how special this is.
There are two places to be judged to, after the testing of our souls; two places in the afterlife... One path leading to hell and the other needing The key; Yahshua the Christ. Only through Him, will you have everlasting peace. Blessings prayers and praises to The Most High Yah
Yes. LOL. I live in Illinois, USA- we are flat- with many huge farms- but we feed the world of corn and soybeans. However, I would prefer and hope 1 day to visit your beautiful country and your Alps. Peace...
Brighton is an absolute shithole, People who aren't from Brighton say its lovely... People from Switzerland may not say their country is a shithole, but it most certainly is lovely, 2nd most beautiful in Europe for me, Austria is number 1
Visited Switzerland a few months ago. By far the best experience of my life and I would do anything to go back there, swiss people are so lucky to have such a beautiful country. If I was to pick anywhere to permanently move to I would pick Switzerland.
Luckily I've had the privilege of going there. I was there in August 1990. Sadly when I went I was stuck behind a woman who was scared so much she went at a snails pace. This brings back so many memories of my trip. I hope to go back to Europe someday soon. Thank you.
And on the way home in 1990, your pilot was stuck going 26 mph behind the plane being flown by Mickey Rooney and Buddy Hackett in "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"!
I had the same experience and it ruined it because it was the only time I have been there and it is a chore to ride the brakes constantly. The alpine ones ore a little different than this.
Living in a concrete jungle here in Seoul, Korea, thank you for allowing me to enjoy this beautiful nature, something I've craved since living in countries like NZ, Norway, Africa, and the US.
If you travel three hours east of Seoul, you will be blown away by the beauty of the mountain Seorak in Gwangwon-do. I highly recommend you visit the place if you haven't done so..
I had a very wholesome moment when I was on a vacation in Austria (next to switzerland) hiking. A bunch of curious cows started following me for like 30 minutes. I thought they stopped following me, so I had a break. 1 minute later I heard the bells and in seconds I saw a big cow staring at me from a distance. I ignored them because I knew they weren't chasing/attacking me. The curious cows came closer and closer and closer until they were less than half a meter away from me. They were very friendly. One of them constantly tried to lick me. I spent a good 10 minutes chilling with them. I guess they just wanted to say hello.
lol He was literally everything BUT your eyes and ears. You have those and you used them to enjoy the video lol HE was your FEET, HANDS, AND EVERYTHING BUT WHAT YOU LISTED!
@cm. CG The amount of alleged "dumbest" things you have read isn't a valid argument. I understand the perspective, and that would make his camera the eyes and ears, that you then viewed. Meaning that guy was Everything but the eyes and ears.
I think the fact that we were locked up in our homes the year this was released and had forgotten what freedom was like ,together with the sweeping music just got this video mad likes that they didn't expect. Left with this ecstatic Nostalgia, and freedom without a care in the world.
It reminded me of the time Frodo and the fellowship of the ring mountain coastered down Caradhras into the Dimrill Dale. And they lost Gandalf on one of the tight turns - that's why the music gets emotional at the end.
lm definetly going to Switzerland after watching this, makes me feel the freedom of this world. The background makes you feel like you are in heaven, and you are.
I remember going on this in 2018, and our 'challenge' was to attempt the whole run without breaking. Resulted in coming off the edge, ramming into the back of each other, and a lot of laughing. Absolutely love to go again.
I live in Bavaria and we have some of these too, I always liked them when I was younger, it's like a perfect climax after mountain hiking tour, but now I truly understand how special it is for certain people who are not able to experience it themselves
The view of those mountains! Fantastic! I live in "flatland" Berlin, the most I'm used to seeing on the horizon are blocks of offices and flats and the odd church spire.
This one was amazing! I also record a video around oeschinesee with my sony a7iii i will edit it when am back from my holiday ! Gopro don't need to color grade
I rode one in I believe New Hampshire when I was young. Was much longer than this, at least a few miles. I think they closed it due to liability concerns because here in the US everyone loves a good lawsuit.
@@Feldmrschl Neither. Attitash has a concrete track. The place I went had a metal track, like Gunstock, but it wasn't a loop, like Gunstock. You rode a gondola to the top of the mountain and then rode the coaster down. Also, the track was a monorail, a single steel rail down the center of the sled. This would have been in the mid 80's.
Attitash was a dangerous track with some turns having too little banking. Pico in Vermont was not bad but the sleds they had were very hit or miss. One was lucky to get a wood skidded, straight running, fast sled. Pico had those three little dips that ended at a 90 degree right turn which was very hairy otherwise fun could be had if you could race a friend on the other track as there were two, side by side...
Loved those warning signs flying by, showing airborne people and sleds, if I’m not mistaken. They probably all said something like: “Zu spät!” point of no return missed.
In 1980, I backpacked up to Oeschinensee from Kandersteg, camped there that night, then in the next two days backpacked on to Lauterbrunnen, staying a night at a very high hut. In a way, it still feels like yesterday, because of what an unforgettable experience it was. But none of this development was there. Kandersteg was a very small town, and there was only the resort by Oeschinensee, where I had coffee in the morning. But part of me is happy people have new, more accessible ways to visit this country. It is heaven.
this is the heaven on earth, a place where dwellers of bleak concrete forests like me would have never witness if weren't for your video, thank you for all the efforts!
Im 38, no kids and no wife I think for my 40th birthday I go to Switzerland I hear nothing but great things about the country and of course some of the most beautiful scenery.
Как я тебе завтдую. Но в отличае от тебя я никогда не смогу туда поехать. Путин и его банда загнала в нищету весь народ. И пока этот диктатор и вор у власти,остаётся только смотреть ролик и мечтать.
The scenery is jaw dropping! I hope someday I can visit Switzerland. If you ever return to California I recommend checking out the Eastern Sierra where I call home.

The mountains in the background look so much more impressive when you realise they might be the last things you ever see.
This is one of the coolest sled rides I’ve seen, although not that long compared to others the fact that it’s not on a track seems like it’s faster and smoother than others. Definitely has more of a fear factor not being on a track. It just looked like a great experience for sure…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I agree with you, I've been 3 or 4 times, skiing the Alps in Zermatt.. 1 time we skied over to the Italian side & a different trip I stayed in Chamonix France, all beautiful places in the Alps, but having the Matterhorn as a backdrop is just amazing!!! ❤️🇨🇭⛷️
they actually built one on part of the Great Wall of China I think it takes away from the historical significance and degrades it a bit... if at the Grand Canyon, somewhere insignificant and not in a photogenic area, but ya that would be pretty cool 😎😁
ah it sucks that when you’re Swiss as a child you go to these so often you kinda get used to the scenery and don’t even cherish it much. That’s why many Swiss only in their 30s start to see the beauty of these places after having lived in the city
@@havif1071 well they enjoy things like LA and New York for scenery. High sky scrapers aren’t as common in Switzerland and not in a fashion like those cities.
C'est incroyable, j'ai regardé la vidéo comme si je vivais l'instant, je veux faire ce truc au moins une fois dans ma vie ! Et les paysages sont d'une beauté, n'en parlons même pas 😍
