Jeff I was about to throw my Zephyr and Sensilight in the trash. And I’m not even joking. My wife talked me into keeping it around and thinking on why it was having problems. I took the mono line off and put Power Pro 8lb test 1lb diameter on it and dang it if it’s not casting the 1/16 oz baits like crazy. I freaking love the setup now. I may go even smaller diameter line with Varivas .6 goh. That line is actually 14.5lb test. But it sucks that it’s freaking $43.
Now I have to go mini-froggin' with my Zephyr/Sensilite setup...great video Jeff! Who knows, maybe Debo can be convinced that BFS isn't a gimmick after all!
I've caught a lot of fish on the 13 Fishing Motor Boat...I actually love this as a topwater bait. Had massive pike crushing this in lily pads at Craig Lake State Park. Caught fish every time I have used it.
The motor boat is awesome. I like it around Tules (I think that how you spell it). How heavy is that brown frog you use? I have a mini frog from spro that weighs 1/4 oz now I think I should try with my bfs on it
I grabbed 2 of these today at a discount at my local Ollie's. I happen to be in love with ploppers man,their my absolute favorite and these motor boats appear to be a weedless plopper to me. Just lookin at it i can tell it'll get hit,i just wonder about hookup percentage. It looks like if they short strike it ,they may not get the hook.
Ive never seen a ozark trail micro or small frog lol maube its a booyah pad crusher jr frim walmart 🤷♂️lol. I have bunch of ozark trail frog i bought from various locations all are around 2/2 1/2 in and 1/2oz, standard frog size.
That 13 fishing motorboat was well tested and caught some big bass. It's also a copy of another bait you've probably got or at least have the under water version of lol the hyperelastic baits. 13 fishing just changed the blade type, it's even basically the same material.
Hay Jeff I'm from Michigan just north of Detroit. Having a hard time finding a place to fish. Can you suggest some lakes that are good places to kayak fish. Thank you and appreciate any help. Great content. 👍
We don't live or fish in that area, so we don't really know any spots. If you google kayak trails in michigan, you can find some good river info. Otherwise, just hop on Google Maps, that is how we find our fishing spots.
