Devils Eye Cave System on October 16, 2021 We did a stage dive with a jump off the mainline to the "Bone Room Tunnel" Once we reached the "Big Room" we turned around and rode the flow back out. Dive with Dmitriy / grdemi
As soon as you tie your primary into the line get as close to the ceiling as you can and stay up high until you reach the lips. There's no flow up there.
It looked like you were on the bottom when going through the gallery? If you go all the way to the ceiling, there will be little flow to fight upon entry. During exit, drift out of the gallery by staying in the middle of it.
I hope a good guitar player named Jeff Worell hears & listens to your soundtrack - this is what My brother Al Wilson was trying to get you to do , at times in the 70’s - you guys had a good Sound and people liked it ! I checked it out myself ! Hope you are well ! Good times -
I’ve heard it’s because the limestone walls in this room are bone white compared to most of the system which are more black. However I’ve found numerous bones throughout this system including a whale vertebrate.
@@WildFlorida I think you are thinking about the White Room which is just off the Bone Line. I was told it was because there is a lot of Bones along that line.
With proper training and equipment Cave diving is a safe sport. Of course they’re inherent risks of diving in an overhead environment but well worth the reward to get to experience environments that most will never get to see.
@@Cody2nd the normal route is open water cert > advanced open water cert / nitrox > cavern > intro to cave > advanced nitrox & decompression > Full cave certification. Certain agencies may have an additional step. You may also want training in sidemount & drysuit.
