Aurora is a master story teller. It's one of her most prominent traits. This woman is truly an anomaly. She is a trained dancer, singer, writer, producer, art director, composer, motivational speaker, and much more. She's unlike anyone else in the music industry. She has amazing artistic integrity, as well. She refuses to be controlled by her manager and record label, and maintains creative control of her music. She stands up for what she believes in, and she stands fully and sincerely behind everything she puts out into the universe. To think that she could write something so profound at age 11 really shows just how insanely talented Aurora is. I truly admire her.

Welcome to a better world. She is a lyrical genius with hauntingly beautiful vocals. Aurora is absolutely everything you said, a great storyteller, her songs have substance, she shines a light in the dark and gives you hope too, like a warm hug from a caring empathetic human. I guess you might be able to tell she is my favorite multi talented artist. Her fans, we are called Warriors and Weirdos because she wants to remind everyone who struggles everyday in life, to not give up, to be a warrior and weirdos because Aurora is wonderfully weird and quirky.

She has such a unique voice. She draws you in and just holds you there. And when you finally come out again, you feel changed in some way.

Aurora was 11 when she wrote this song lyrics and music. However she was 20 when she made this video. Aurora is a fabulous Rabbit Hole well worth the deep dive into. She is as good LIVE as recorded so check out her live performances also. She is equally adorable as she is talented.

I fell into the Aurora rabbit hole a few years ago. She is unique and the more you see of her the more you will love her. I believe she was around 19 in this video but wrote this at 11 years old. Try Through the eyes of a child live at Nidarosdomen, you wont regret it

Here come the Warriors (Aurora fans)! Aurora's performance of Through the Eyes of a Child (Live at Nidarosdomen) is one of my favorites.

You are in for a fantastic adventure with this artist! Every single song she has done to date are absolutely next level. She will surprise you at every turn.

She was 18 in the music video, but wrote the song when she was 11-12, and she is 27 now (28 in June 2024). She is amazing live, you should watch the song live at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert, either privately or reaction. She writes her music and lyrics, and has released 3 albums and 2 EPs, and is about to announce her 4th album any time now. And by now she has experimented with many different genres and styles, specially on her latest 3rd album, and the 3 singles from the upcoming album.

Awesome seeing Aurora make it to your channel! She is truly a very unique and special artist (and person). If you think she's great in the studio, just wait until you see her live! One of the best performers I've ever seen. If you want to see "Runaway" live, the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize concert is where it's at. Probably correct - the percussing beatboxing part. One heck of an emotional ride wasn't it, due in no small part to the dynamics of Aurora's voice. Yes, it is original alright - heck, she wrote this song as an 11 year-old (though she was already much older in this video). Wait till you hear her perform this song in The Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015. That one, froze me on the spot then and actually brought me to tears for some reason. I do highly recommend you check it out, whether as a reaction or as something private.

Aurora's voice has a VERY rare ethereal quality which combined with the almost simplistic musical melody serves to draw you in as you listen . I'd recommend checking out something from - Aurora Live at Nidarosdomen ( Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim , Norway ) the Full Concert is on RU-vid . The last song in the concert is a truly wonderful and haunting cover of Bowie's " Life On Mars " - but the whole thing is superb and in a dramatic setting .

I LOVE watching people discover Aurora for the first time. Welcome to the Warriors and Weirdos! ( after you do your research, you will find out what that means ). There are SO MANY of her songs that are this good and better, it’s difficult to choose what you should watch next, But when I was first discovering Aurora I found this one touched me the most because it showcased her voice. It's always a beautiful thing to witness someone discovering Aurora for the first time. I checked out her debut album on a whim when it first came out. It was a very dark period in my life and she was a life raft in a shoreless sea I thought would drown me. Enjoy the rest of your journey through her music. 🙏🏻

Very nice!😊 She starting writing in secret at a very young age as therapy to deal with things bothering her, and seems to still write out of necessity, and not just to get hits. Had no ambitions, and turned down offers at first. Serious introvert (and empath) and hated performing her first 100 concerts or so. Very comfortable now though. Some must see music videos, but incredible live (I have tickets to see her twice next week 😁) . Great band, but she shines in any setting really. I love her acoustic/stripped sets, but she's also great with a symphonic orchestra.

The beat is Magnus, he is masterful on the drums. He brings another dimention to Aurora's music. Anyway, welcome to the Aurora rabbit hole. It is a truely magical place. Take notes that she write this song at the age of 9 or 11 i forgot, i think she wrote this when she had a fight with her family (parents or siblings) that makes her feel she doesn't belong there so she want to just runaway from there. I think most children's had that moment in their life at least once 😅 "I kept running for a soft place to fall", running to her room and crying in bed after fight

Very cool reaction. Aurora is amazing Artist with a lot of great, emotional and diverse music. It is worth to check more of her stuff and there is a lot. She is unique person too. The song is about different phases of mourning/sorrow and about running away from world and life. But you can not run away forever and you need to accept your loss. It is also about finding a place or person where you can "repair" yourself to return to life. I appreciate what you do, thank you so much... it's cool, I love it. I only have one minor gripe: When a song gets paused, it absolutely wrecks the mood tapestry the artist has woven with such intricate care. Once the song pauses, that's it... the framework of emotional investment and progress is destroyed, whether in part or full. We decorate time. Pausing a musician's work, to my reckoning, is like stepping in front of the Mona Lisa to tell us about it. Anyway, not a passionate gripe, just a thing that kind of makes me shake my head and smirk.
