I think this is my all time favorite live performance! Brilliant!! Little Girl Gone and her new Cut You Off are both fabulous and empowering. Chinchilla writes, produces, creates her own hats and clothes... she does it all independently. Love her!

Head voice, chest voice, fries and distortion, breathing control perfect!

Ren has said she is his musical sister! They both can express music so well!

That run thru the "Hell hath no fury" line up to the E5 belt "scorned" is a top-tier #Goosebumps moment. And her playing with dynamics, down to intricate little ASMR-ish things which remind me of Björk doing weird-yet-compelling Björk things.... long may Chinchilla express herself in whatever way she feels like! :)

Her dad is an actor, and so was her mum, and she was often backstage, so it probably had a major influence on her!

Chinchilla is soooo much the real deal. This performance is outstanding in so many ways. The theatricality alone would make it worth watching. Her ability to embody a character (equal parts a Tim Burton creation, the Artful Dodger and the Greatest Showman - I mean her dress is a circus tent!) would make this watching. All this would make it worthy of attention even if she had a bang average voice. But what a voice! It's almost unfair that one person gets so many talents! Little Girl Gone is great fun and the live version is totally different and somehow even better 😀

OK first subscribe to her chanel, she need it. She is freaking fantastic, she got an other super duet with Ren ''How to be'' that you have to watch and she did busking with Ren also that is realy good. She write all of her song and music, she also make her own mixe, she got a little video that show her set-up that might interest you. She is fully independent artiste and she just finish something with Ren that I think is cooking a full duet album with diferent artist. Her latest MV Cute you off and Little girl gone are realy amazing. A lot of women impowering 🙂

I just love her. The breath control on that big note. HOW?!?!?!? I'm glad you watched this live version first because it is just so impactful, but the studio version and official video are worth checking out for a totally different vibe. Little Girl Gone is a total banger that really leans into the empowerment/ not taking any more s4!t vibe. 🥰 Also, like Ren, she also does a lot of her own production, so keep that in your mind as you explore her studio work.

I wish she had more of a catalog of videos, but I expect she's picking up steam. For sure check out "Little Girl Gone". She has two versions worthy of reactions - the official video and the live (Requiem) are different enough that you can do them both. Her latest, "Cut You Off" is also great. There's a video on a different channel of her live performance at the 2020 European music awards show doing "Cold Water" and her blind audition on The Voice U.K. doing "I Put a Spell On You" (filmed about a year ago, before Ren broke loose, but just released). Ren mentioned that he's been working with several artists including Chinchilla the last few weeks, so we should see those later this year (Ren's back in Canada to resume treatment now). Next to the duet "Chalk Outlines", their live duet of "How To Be Me" is my next favorite. While you're in the "Ren-i-verse", you absolutely have to check out Ren's duet with Sam Tompkins, "Earned It/Man's World/Falling" and Sam on his own - "Time Will Fly", "Lose It All (Live)" or "Hero (Live from Hammersmith Apollo)". Have a crying towel handy for that last one.

This artist deserves far more recognition than she gets. I figure it HAS to be he coming! She is too good to simply fall between the cracks. A few personal thoughts: In every single video she wears some sort of custom clothing, as we have all noticed. However, to me, from a male viewpoint, it is very, very clear to me that she is hiding her body. My personal take on thet is that it isnt due to being ashamed or anything like that. I believe it is because she wants to make it as an artist due to her art, not her looks. I have so much respect for that! She is the superhero I want my 9 year old to look up to. Also, if you watch her other videos, she, like Ren, can have an amazing studio version, then she does the best cover songs! Of her own songs lol. And they transform the song, too. It isn't just, "I sang it like I did in the studio version. Fingers, in fact, is one of them. The studio version is so unbelievably different. Thanks for the reaction!

This is no BS. One of the Mount Rushmore live vocal performances of my life. It’s crazy good. Funny Ren calls her his music sister. Because they honestly both are only performers I heard on here. Where one of their lives. I have said. That needs to be played in a class. So good. She does things with her voice. I have never heard. Should be way bigger than she is. I have fallen for her voice. lol

Chinchilla also produces her own records, so that's also something to maybe listen for if you get round to her studio stuff.

I love Chinny so much. I admire her for speaking her mind without fear at such a young age. For speaking what so many of us have been thinking and feeling. None of us want to hurt anyone, but we will if it comes down to protecting our lives and the lives of those we love. She's just a lovely, lovely person, with a backbone of steel. Love her. ❤❤❤

OMG OMG OMG!!!...Wait, why does my voice sound like a little girl....in my head??? I'm so excited you're doing this song already!! Gotta go watch, be right back.......... Yay, I knew you would love it, she's something else isn't she? Ok, didn't check below, but to answer a few questions, yes she is very theatrical in her solo stuff, I believe it started with the long fingernails, she has mentioned in interviews that when she started out she had terrible stage fright, and that the long nails was something she had never done in her personal life, so putting them on made her feel fierce and feel more confident which helped with her stage fright. Then her on stage persona kind of grew from that, and she is now known for elaborate outfits and make-up. As far as the lyrics, I'm only guessing, but apparently she had a rough time with an ex, or a couple exes, because many of her songs are based around self empowerment, and hint at past relationships taking advantage of her, and her not taking it anymore type stuff. I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions for your next Chinchilla, but if I may throw my hat in the ring.. She has an older song (2020-ish) called "Elements", it's one she doesn't have a live version of, just a lyric video, but she also performs in it, so I guess it's a regular video with lyrics. Either way, it was the first solo song I encountered by her, and was like not bad, but It didn't blow me away, but it was one of those sleeper songs, I've since revisited it, and now it's top of my playlist. It's more up beat, she actually does a little rapping in it, I would compare it to a Beyonce' track, it's on that level, but it's definitely unique to her, Chinchilla through and through. As always, great reaction!!! Keep up the great work, had soooo much fun on the live stream the other day too!! ✌️💚

Chinchilla's (Daisy's) nail's..... she said herself the act of putting her nails on gets her into "Chinchilla" character mode, when you react to "Little Girl Gone" I would recommend the official video first, before you watch the live version, like Ren's Money Game part 2 both versions are amazing but the official videos give more context to the lyric's.

For an insightful contrast, try Chinchilla's studio version of Fingers (available on her channel as well). It's a completely different sound, if not meaning, to the track compared to the live version and demonstrates Chinchilla production abilitiy as well as a different set of performing storytelling skills. Chinchilla likes to mix up the live vs the studio versions, to which we all are greatly benefitted. p.s. Chinchilla comes from an acting/performance related family, I guess the theatrics is in the genes - even her Lyric videos are artistic performances. Not all of Chinchilla music is on her channel, only those with videos. For her other audio only tracks, which are well worth listening to, these can be found on the YT Chinchilla - Topic channel.

New sub here. Chinchilla is a phenomenon. Her other colab. with Ren, "How to Be Me" is even better than "Chalk Outlines". She has quite a few solos that are worth a listen. Everyone will say "Little Girl Gone" and they are not wrong. But she has 2 from long before she was famous that I think would be #1 radio hits in US if they were promoted right. 1. is "Trigger" off her Moon Maintenance for Dummies album. She was signed for this one, but they never gave her a chance...it was coof time and they eneded up going their separate ways. 2. is "Elements" which I believe she released as a single back in 2019.
