I'm australian, of Italian heritage, represent this country, but never forget my roots. Petrosyan represents Italy but I'm sure he's a very proud Armenian. And so he should be. Lots of Armenians around my area and the relationship between the Italians and them is great. A good people. Forza petrosyan.
One of the best examples Giorgio Petrosyan was born with gifts, he then trained and sharpened this "eyesight"/ reaction time and hand eye coordination to perfection, before even entering the second half of his career. I am not Korean , but i agree with them if they said what you say. Giorio is very talented tactical fighter. I can understand their admiration. Also I like how enthusiastic they sound lol, even though I dont understand a word, they sound like they are enjoying the fight. You should hear the dutch commentators, they talk like they are gonna fall asleep any moment now.

Askerov è un ottimo Thai Boxer, ma con le regole del K1 risente della velocità e pressione del combattimento.. nella thai tendenzialmente vengono portati meno colpi e a distanza maggiore, mentre nella kick/k1 la guardia, la distanza ed i colpi sn leggermente diversi. Tuttavia, Grande Giorgio e grande Dzhabar, due ottimi lottatori. Invito a vedere qualche match di Dzhabar di thai, la sua espressività è nettamente superiore!

All i gotta say is Ouchhhh!!!...What makes Petrosyan so dangerous is his endurance which is brought by good evasion to hits..so his power last throughout the whole fight.
Might want to check his record then. Dzhabar is a damn good fighter. This is the only time he has been KOed. Now compare that with Petrosyan's record and you can see why the fight went the way it did. Petrosyan is one of the best kickboxers out there right now. He has had all of 1 loss on the record that I have seen and this is even against other highly proficient fighters. So to say that Dzhabar is a stupid fighter tells me you don't know anything about him.
Man, I love buakaw, he is my most fav. fighter. I will always pick him against whomever, but in recent matches he just been getting by, its like he dont have that "eye of the tiger" like he did during the 2003-2006 years, buakaw has alot of respect for his opponents, maybe a little too much. he needs to be hungry and wanted the KO.
I know aper, i'm actually following Petrosyan since the times nobody knew him:) He lost in Lumpini because he had a cold feaver at the time of the match, some actually go as far as saying, he got poisened before the fight because there was allot money to gain. Gevorg and another italian friend drunk some water that was offered to them by a Thai, both got very sick for drinking it, Armen Petrosyan had not drunk a drip of that water and he was just fine.
Petro is an Armenian-Italian human being, and a COMPLETELY Italian athlete. He started practicing MT in Italy, he learnt from an Italian coach, he represents Italian school. Thus, as an ATHLETE, he is 100% Italian. Reason why he wears Italian colours? He shares this idea.
wholly crap this Giorgio dude is BAD ASS! reminds me a little like buakaw back in his younger years. this guy is young/fast/strong. I believe its Giorgio vs. Artur in the final for 2009
yeah luck has nothing to do with it...they've both obviously been training muay thai for a very long time. dzhabar just seems to favor heavy punches, where as giorgio seems to favor a well rounded fight game. it paid off big time

why would swedish judges show favoritism towards buakaw...? Even i scored it a draw and im a die hard buakaw fan...they both won 2 rounds and drew 1 round
the guy lives in italy since he was a child, he started muay thai in italy, in a italian gym with italian masters. he was just born in armenia and it's all. ;)
never liked dzhabar...hes a bully fighter, trods forward with his guard up looking for big wild punches. petrosyan dismantled him with knees to the body, low kicks, teeps, and even snuck some punches through his guard. then shut him down with a knee to the liver to let him feel every second of it...none of this "go to sleep" crap
