This fight was in 2012. Petrosyan had 38 total fights with 1 loss. It's 2016 and he has 88 fights and only 2 losses. That's a level of activity unseen in other combat sports. It's incredible.
wow fabio was fighting really well basically if he were fighting almost anybody else he wouldve knocked that person out but god damn pertroysian is such a beast defensively he was dodging countering and blocking like crazy. What a great fight.
Petrosyan is a genius. He is so good that it makes the opponents to appear as easy. I have watched this fight right after the bout between Fabio and Saenchai and I was astonished by the difference.
Plus (no disrespect to Pinca, he's super talented) but Saenchai could've won with a different approach, as he won the first fight. He was too playful (as he usually is training), Pinca wanted revenge for his loss against him, pretty much went to kill Saenchai haha. It seems like he never got comfortable, anyway Pinca threw more but didn't hurt Saenchai. Plus we all saw how disrespectful he was, that's the bad part of that match... even when Saenchai is pretty respectful all the time.
If anything I'd be more worried for Buakaw now, who I'd root for. But Giorgio's unlike anything I've seen; he's doing super amazing and only getting much better. Buakaw hasn't changed much but is still a great, great, great fighter but Giorgio's progressed so much since their last fight so I'm very concerned for how Buakaw will take care of Giorgio now. Would be a great tactical fight! Could be Buakaw's first loss in a very long time!
Yep it's Kraus vs Sanny Dahlenbeck (Swedish fighter) and Van Roosmalen vs Tim Thomas.....If both Kraus and Van Roosmalen win they meet in the Semis!!! And than Petrosyan is on the other side of the bracket so he could meet Roosmalen or Kraus in the final!! Can't wait!
Really..I think it's you having a prejudice towards him...The 2nd was won by Petrosyan too...Based on what Pinca won it ? I don't get it...the third was close so either way is fine
I notice he gets agitated when fighters aren't necessarily trying to be cocky but they're just trying to show that they can't be bullied by Buakaw's brute force and timing. But the truth of the matter is a ring is home to Buakaw and he lets you know it and doesn't let anyone ever get the upper hand. Giorgio may win on points but for sheer strength and ring dominance I think Bua will always win, no matter how big his opposition. His technique is still textbook perfect.
Fabio took a Muay Thai pacing and didn't nearly train enough boxing for this fight. Maybe if there were 2 more rounds there could be an upset, Pinca landed some hard knees and body shots towards the end of the third. Petrosyan definitely won score-wise, though.
vedere come para i calci giorgio con le proprie gambe e' poesia..li manda fuori di testa a tutti, crea un senso di impotenza nella testa dei propri avversari
When i read those comments, i don t think we ve actually watched the same fight. Petrosyan didn t connect a lot of punches, all in pinca gloves, and pinca didn t connect as well a lot of punches. Just the proof that this was a mvp fight between 2 excellent fighters. Pinca took the 2nd round thanks to his knees. Petrosyan took the rest but pretty balanced
Are they even fighting? I thought Buakaw retired and wasn't even allowed to fight after his lawsuit with his own camp, prohibiting him to compete without compensation to the camp.
even if they fight (i don't see that coming) i think giorno will beat him, he is the best right now, when they fought giorgio was just a kid, now e is a beast!
It's incredible how Giorgio makes Fabio look poor technically. Fabio was one on of the best technical fighters back in the days and here was outclassed by the Doctor.
Giorgio may outscore him alot but have you seen them both fight?? Petrosyan is a clever chess master-thinking type of fighter.....where as Roosmalen fights like a street goon.....Petrosyan will have to outpoint him and technically pick him apart (like he did with Kraus) to win....If he plays the tough guy game with Roosmalen (which he never would) he will get crushed.
In my opinion, the 1rst round is for Petrosyan, the 2nd for Pinca (or equal), but the 3rd, no doubts is for Pinca. Whereas Judges say all rounds are for G Petrosyan. I'm not agree with them. Petrosyan's punches are too often in the gloves. His muay thai is more spectacular but Pinca's is more "clean", beautiful.
Pour moi, Pinca a fait son combat et était plus combatifs. Si les deux premiers Rounds étaient équilibrés, en revanche le troisième est pour lui. Je ne suis pas d'accord avec les juges.
