I only ever use Giovanni products anymore, because they work better than anything that I have ever tried before. Giovanni products really define the curl, and I feel as if it leaves your hair feeling very soft and mosturized, and just good altogether. I'll never use another line again! Giovanni is the product line for me. If only they had oils,lol.
i use the leave in alot, it is moisturizing but i find that it makes my scalp itchy. have you ever noticed that? i use it under my shea butter after washing and rinsing.
I got the Larger size from TJ Maxx too for the Smooth and Silk Conditoner and the TTTT Shampoo. That Shampoo is AAMMMAAAZZZIIINNGGG!!!! I almost fell in the shower standing up because I was so invigorated and relaxed. I bought 5 big bottles of the Smooth and Silk Conditoner. Thanks ladies.
Thank you for the review, I went out and bought the 50:50 shampoo, a new Giovanni deep conditioner, and the direct leave-in....I love them all. You guys were so dead on. THANKS!
I have been hearing good reviews about Giovanni and this video solidified my choice to purchase the leave-in tomorrow. BTW...I LOVE the concept of your videos!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for telling me TJ Maxx carries Giovanni!! I LOVE the Smooth as Silk shampoo and conditioner and I just bought the 33 oz conditioner for $12.99! Holla!
I used the direct leave-in and my hair initially felt good but I don't know what happened after that first go it felt dry as hell and I sealed with my organic coconut oil
I purchased 3 bottles from our local Walmart...they had them on clearance for 4.00 (great deal) and I like it....the leave in goes a long way with just a quarter size for my texture of hair. I made the mistaking of putting more than that and had to rinse some out...it's a good leave in conditioner.
I noticed that you didn't review the Giovanni Root 66 Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner . I use this everyday for my hair which - although I have a lot of volume - is fine texture. This shampoo cleans fine textured hair well without over drying - and it doesn't overcondition
I think you may have not liked the honey wheat shampoo b/c it said it's formulated with those of normal to oily hair. It makes sense that it may dry out naturally dry, afro textured hair. Maybe you can use it once a month as a clarifying shampoo instead.
The Giovanni Root 66 Volumizing Conditioner gives fine textured hair just enough condition and detangling without over conditioning or weighting fine textured hair down. These two products - shampoo and conditioner strengthen hair and gives body as well .
This was helpful I recently purchased the smooth as silk conditioner and the styling gel. I couldn't find the leave-in conditioner but I'll purchase that soon.
Oh, and also I think the golden wheat is more for non-textured hair. I LOVE Giovanni, but some of their products, like the golden wheat, just seem as if they are not made for texture hair, so I personally stay away from those.
