There is actually an episode of a TV series about that, I don't know the name of the series but the episode was called "The woman that returned her husband" I think
I think it's not just women. I think this is just modern dating in general. We never commit to anyone because there just might be a better option somewhere out there... Except it's not and has never been about finding someone who will check all the boxes and fulfill all of your needs perfectly (because no human will).
I don’t like the idea of ranking people. Everyone has their own unique qualities that make them who they are, and that doesn’t make them better or worse than someone else. I feel like when it comes to relationships, it’s more about finding who you click with and who you feel comfortable and safe with. Not whether they are better or worse than all the other people on the planet
I think that if there was a Wife Store version most men would go up two or three floors and stop, with the occasional man reaching the Fourth Floor before stopping.
betcha she went ALL the way just because she "thought" the last floor had a white dude......bluntly speaking, its TRUE when all around "my world" I see only wm/af couples.....
@@meganmoney3479 The point is to highlight the humor in unrealistic expectations, not to perpetuate sexist stereotypes. If you can't grasp that and instead resort to making sexist remarks, maybe you should reevaluate why you feel the need to bring women down for wanting equality and mutual respect in relationships."
@@saltywaterwithfood Except "unrealistic expectations" weren't highlighted. What was highlighted is that women are "impossible to please" simply for having standards. This "joke" is incredibly sexist. I like Jennie but this video wasn't it. Women need to stop accepting the absolute bare minimum from men.
This was a great video, I've heard this joke before although it seems nobody else here has and seems to think you invented it. Keep it up Jeenie and I'm glad you found everything you wanted and needed at your trip to the husband store!
To be fair, it does fully seem like a stand up joke from the 80s. And I'd guess most of the people here weren't even born until the 2000s. It's not really their fault.
I would have stopped at floor 2, honestly 😂 (I don't like having my partner telling me I'm always right...I mean, I like being right, but I appreciate a good discussion way more than having someone let me win all the time)
problem with that is alot of women (esp where I live...) wanna date or marry the bad boy types....the ones that dominate and or get jealous FAST and end up murdering the woman.
Ouch, that ending line! Some people are going to complain about it being sexist/ outdated, but I think the general idea is that people (not only women) build up, and want, "perfect" when that simply doesn't exist.
This is the best presentation of this joke I have seen in my 60 year life. Given all the other skits of your I have seen... Why don't you have you have your own show on television?
I need my husband to be right when am wrong or at least know something is off. Always assuming am right would of gotten us in a lot of trouble and the reverse is true as well.
😂 Oh dear lord… I knew EXACTLY how this would end! Jeanies take is spot on, but there are many other versions of people impossible to please. One solid example from way-back-when: Frasier & Niles ending up in the backyard next to some garbage cans because they kept upping their club spa membership privileges. Please don’t ask me which episode, though… 🤷♀️ quite slipped my mind… I’ve not got that stellar grasp of the comedy classics.
I would've stopped on floor 2. Maybe I just have low standards or have been unlucky, but the housework thing has alluded every guy I've been with and is my ultimate fantasy 😂
This is so true for most women. They are never satisfied no matter how well you treat them they will always think you could do better. Luckily there are a few realistic ones and i specifically chose my wife because she is happy with what she got.
Women always choose best she choose heart and kindness the person who is more nice she chooses that not that you showed but men☕ always chooses by face they don't see any heart and kindness why people not see that???
As my RU-vid handle suggests I am apparently an easy to please woman and it only took me 42 years to find him after kissing a few (and marrying one of them) toads before I found my level 5. Explore more options and learn from the mistakes ladies ❤
The other way around.. Man goes to 1.. she's not young or hot enough.. two.. She's not young enough..3..She's hot, pliable and is like 20. Sign me up!!😭😂 I'm a home shopper anyways, what's a husband when you can buy shoes and dogs!😍😁
I love the typo “4 3” on the third floor. It feels like there is an Easter egg somewhere to find your true husband and you missed it. Or maybe it transports you to the 6th floor. 😂
