I wouldn't say that it's awful, but it definitely changes the tone of the videos, it's gone from watching mentalists on two wheels trying to remove themselves from the gene pool, to what feels like a police bodycam channel. It's gotten sterner, if that makes sense, but it's what the RU-vid overlords demand now, so those are the cards we're dealt.

I tend to agree with this only because you can't expect people to check over their shoulder. Too much work for them. I have ridden on the road for over 37 years. One thing I do is never be in anyone's blind spot. That way I am proactively protecting myself and not relying on someone to actually give a squat about bikes.

@312desolation Got smacked by a semi last January. Was slowly cruising up the left lane of a 4 lane highway. I was sitting under the truck's passenger mirrors (couldn't move forward because there was another truck in front of me) and the truck driver to my left couldn't see me (small GTI) and he pushed me out of my lane and I ended up on his grill. The right lane is the most dangerous position to be in relative to a truck.

So let me see if I got this right, ROI Israel (6.37) is riding around with his mirrors turned in and therefore completely useless, gets upset because a car driver changes into a lane he wasn’t yet in, so folds the car mirror in making it more dangerous for the car to make further lane changes. When all he had to do was change his mind and keep in the same lane and maybe roll off the throttle an increase his journey time by perhaps a second…..non issue! There’s a lack of logical thinking going on here!

3:14 - 6:33 Interesting that we don't get to see the incident that made the cop pull him over, but at face-value, this cop seems to be very reasonable. He's pretty relaxed about it all, isn't being aggressive, he explains everything calmly, even when the rider is being a little snarky with the "You went for me and not the car" comment, the cop had obviously been watching him for a while because he cited at least two incidents, which means the rider is probably doing hard pulls quite a lot. I don't live in the US but I gather carrying insurance details is a thing you should do and while I'm not sure about the carrying laws, it does sound like the rider is being a little silly there as well. It seems he got pulled for a missing or illegal plate previously, and if he's constantly getting pulled over, I would have to agree with the cop; the rider probably needs to take a cold, hard look at his riding. I get wanting to give the bike some rizz, because speed is fun and bikes do speed quite well, but there is a time and a place for it, and it seems to me like this area is not it, if nothing else because cops are out and about with a sharp eye. The other thing is if you're always speeding and doing hard acceleration, eventually it becomes a habit, and then you have to go really hard and really fast to get the same thrills, and THAT'S when bikers get into life-changing-injury territory.

I'm not American (Guns are illegal here to own) but even i know a concealed is a weapon carried on or about a person hidden from the ordinary view of another person. If its unloaded with no round in the chamber and no magazine its 100% legal to have on him as its how you would lawfully transport a weapon. Also a CCL to me at least means "ON" the person so like in a hidden holster under clothing. As for the dudes so called racing ticket the cop then says even if you are not racing its still racing..... give me a break. Cop just needs to up his tally mark and meet his quota for tickets that week.

Some of the people riding on here are asking for accidents, and I suppose that might be your content but ride like you are invisible, don't be surprised when a car cuts over in traffic and does not see you, chances are they did not. "You almost killed me bro!" going 25 MPH you should be able to break, accelerate, or swerve to avoid hazards. The Liquor chronicles is from my hometown, I hope he reads this comment. In this state that cop car is technically illegal, a no mark, private plates car is considered entrapment by state law. Unmarked police vehicles are legal in Oregon. A simple Google search will show you this. For example : "Police squads [in Oregon] must request special permission to operate unmarked vehicles on traffic patrols or other undercover investigations. If granted, they can run unmarked cars with standard-issue license plates."

@deathk2682 it's been a back and forth in the state for years. Unmarked us legal, but the private plate is the part where he could have something for the courts. It should have a public plate. There have been multiple tickets avoided, and lawsuits won in the state because of that.

Got wrecked this week. Two lane road, guy towing a 23 foot boat pulled into other lane as I went to pass IN THE PASSING ZONE. Fell back and lowered my speed... Homie slows to 25 in a 40 and pulls truck and boat 3/4 into the grass on the side... As I go to pass he accelerated, pulled right in front of me, makes a hard right back off the road kicking the boat corner OVER THE LINE and slammed on the brakes coming to a complete stop with another car coming from the other direction. I ate the stern at about 10mph. Guy was looking for his trailer light connector, so no brake lights. Cheesey ass cop ticketed me for following too closely, guy pulled into my lane... And excessive speed... My body stopped the bike at the boat. He moved forward and my clutch slipped hitting his license plate and falling over onto my leg breaking my fibula, head of the tibia and twisting my knee. Small area of road rash. Cop gets there after the paramedics leave and ambulance takes me.. So he picked that fucker up and put it back on his truck. Tampering... Fuck the cop and the cage. From now on, painted lines can suck a dick, assholes are getting passed and if cops have a problem with me making it home alive by avoiding cattle lines... They can go suck dick after I've helped to defund their asses. I used to actually donate to them. But they have a new flag and I believe in America first.. so fuck their country. Seems like the only good cops left are the ones you meet on a bike, on their days off.

In Oregon, you have to have a permit to carry loaded and concealed. I believe the statute is you have to carry in plain view (open carry) or unloaded and inaccessible without a permit. He’s lucky the cop didn’t push the issue. I’m guessing he isn’t near Portland.
