Lovely, lovely story, brought tears. The gentleness of the gorillas is breath taking, they seem to actually love that child. Thank you, will have tears and smiles all day.
What a beautiful, emotional story. So heartwarming to see the gorillas in their natural surroundings. The Aspinall family have achieved something very special ❤❤❤
Am sure John Aspinall was looking down from Heaven n been very happy of his son and granddaughters' achievements in life, what a great true story God Bless the Aspinall family and all good people on earth, thank you all the Aspinall family
If you believe in heaven then, you also believe that the Bible ( Word of GOD ) is true. So you know this Aspinall person can't be looking down from heaven because he's either dead in a box in the ground or dead in a vase on a shelf. His spirit returned to GOD but, his soul has to wait until judgment day to enter heaven or hell. Let's stop the catholic heresy.
@@scottzappa9314yes, John died about 15 years ago now. He’s buried at Howletts, I remember watching him and the children not just being in with the gorillas but the big cats too. Howletts and Port Lympne are still busy.
@MusicLoverPearson Let me put it this way. You are a music lover. Others love animals and put their hearts and souls into that love, as I am sure you put your heart and soul into your love of music.
A four year old fell into the gorilla enclosure at the zoo. The male gorilla picked up the unconscious child and comforted the now crying child. He laid the child down for the keeper to retrive the boy. Beautiful
Beautiful story..how I wish I could go to Borneo and other places to view the gorillas and orangutans but I never will..always have a love for all animals..thank you for sharing your beautiful memories..Gina
Gina, why will you never go??? If you wish to do it girl, make it happen, if I can do it so can you. I've now been here in Siem Reap Cambodia, 15 minutes drive from one of the 8 wonders of the world at Angkor Wat temples for 9 years married with my own home & Borneo, or Myanmar as it's called now is a short plane ride away. You can do it all you need is the will & a positive attitude. Go for it👊👊💙
A most touching story for sure and one that I've already shared with many friends. We can live together if we dismiss our greed and replace it with love for our fellow creatures.
It's a wonderful story, beautifully illustrated. Problem: If any of the filmed part were real & it wasn't well rehearsed & predictable, no dog would have been included in a hike into the jungle to find wild gorillas
What a touching story and breathtaking story! Animals or humans, love is the most powerful force, that can never be broken! ❤️ What will always be remembered, in life, is how you’re treated, and how you treat others…That will never be forgotten! ❤
Whenever I see so may AI generated photos I immediately suspect that it's all fake. Story is based on truth (with embellishments) so just stick to actual photos of the family. AI is creepy.
@@tinakollia9420 The eyes are wrong. Also skin tone. But probably the best is your sense of what is actually possible. A person with a young ape is certainly possible. A person hanging onto a full grown male silver back...is not. And of course it's the combination of all those things. Look at the pictures of the fully grown gorilla being hugged by the girl (the hard to believe photos) and take a hard look at how the skin and eyes look. The bad news is that soon we will not be able to tell truth from fake. Even worse we'll soon see this on live feeds. You'll literally not be able to believe it unless you see it in person with your own eyes.
Very true. There are so many animals that need that same respect and protection…..we humans can destroy things so quickly, without a thought to extinction.
@@dianapeek6936 That has been true ever since there have been teachers. AI, Twitter, Facebook, Internet, TV News, Newspapers, Almanacs, Archives, Bible, Tablets, Temples, Runes, Stars, and Farming. You should always be careful what you believe, but AI is not the first threat to the truth.
That was wonderful....thank you for sharing this with all who take the time to watch.. As a child I watched a lot of Tarzan movies lol fell in love with chimps and elephants. Still love them, another place for the bucket list a trip to a zoo.:) My other fav is whales I want to be one of those dumb people who go out in a boat to be close to whales and let them blow there nose on us lol Have a good weekend all in the UsA. thanks again and I did sigh up lol.
@@venezzrok871 Nope. I just read in Genesis, in the Bible, as God created something special on each of the first 6 days, of the week, and then, blessed everything, that it was good, and last of all, on the 7th day created the Sabbath, as a day of rest, that we get together, and thank God for what He has done for us. Isn't He wonderful!

I had the great luck to visit Howletts Wild Animal Park when I lived in Folkestone and worked for the NHS. It was absolutely amazing and joyful to watch these beautiful beings run as free as possible. So very sorry they closed, but I understand that these beautiful creatures needed to be returned to the jungle for all the reasons explained in the video!
Right? The one with the man and the girl.....He raised the gorillas and was introducing them to his girlfriend (I think that was how it went) I have not seen this clip in a long time but it was not HER meeting them again. He had come to see them because he raised them.
If the crew filmed the entire visit then where is that film footage! Why show stock photos that have zero to do with the story? Terribly disappointed in this video.
People need constantly changing pictures to keep their attention. They are too dumb. And they want to stretch it out, so they can get the numbers they want, hence money. It's all about money. Sad.😢😢
Yes, I like your comment. I’m just gonna be dangerous if you mistreat them if you want around them consistently they’re gonna love you and they’re gonna treat you like family. They’re gonna be good to you and they’re very territory. They’re gonna protect you. I know these things because I grew up animals Like the pitbull they’re dangerous. A lot of people say that they’re bad but they’re not. I love those animals. There’s beautiful I mean acceptable beautiful animals and I love those dogs cause I’m an animal lover because he was very fortunate and he was in the summer he was and I fed him just the Little little baby I love he’s not around anymore, but I treasure him in the day I die. I’m gonna see him again just saying says all animals all dogs go to heaven and I plan to see him. I’m looking forward to that no matter how ugly these animals are to me, they’re beautiful just beautiful. They love to be around. Thank you for that comment. I agree with you God bless I’m Nelda Texas.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫶🫶🫶❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Incredible scenes. Began looking like a Kong moment ending in Attenborough situation. There is something mesmerising about a child's appreciation and love of wild animals.Fabulous story and I wish Tansy and the gorillas well.

The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the LORD.(Isaiah 62: 5).

Oh my gosh, the story is not 100% true. That woman is not Damien‘s daughter. It’s his girlfriend. She did not grow up with those gorillas. There are parts that are true, but the grown woman is not his daughter. Don’t believe everything you hear with these stories! Some of the facts are untrue.
@@titusrider7948 there may be parts of it that are true, but that little girl is not his daughter. It’s his girlfriend. Damien grew up with gorillas, and some of them went back to the wild. He took his girlfriend to meet one of the gorillas in the wild that he used to be close with because he raised the gorilla. That’s the woman in the story. Google Damian Aspinall.
@@titusrider7948 - The gist of the narration is true but the uploader has taken liberties with the editing, so as to tell a story. Damian's wife, Victoria is shown but so is Tansy. There are pictures of the gorillas involved but also extracts from unrelated videos. This is probably done to avoid copyright issues. For the authentic footage there are uploads from The Aspinall Foundation on both Tansy and Victoria re-visiting their 'family'. Victoria only visited the gorillas after she had married Damian but his daughters certainly were brought up around gorillas and Tansy did indeed go to The Gabon and re-unite with Djalta and Bimms.
It all started with John Aspinall. He started the sanctuary and had the original gorillas. I have photographs of Damien as a baby being introduced to the gorillas as a baby. John literally gave the baby to the silverback. He was slated by the public and press and child services were brought in. There were no more press shots of Damien as a baby with the gorillas. By the time Tansy was born knowledge of gorillas etc had changed so it was as much of a thing as with her dad. The story is true but it has been doctored badly by the maker. The Aspinall Foundation own a huge tract of land in Gabon where they release Lowland Gorillas. It’s spectacular. We should all be thankful to the Aspinall Foundation.
