My goodness this guy is a genius. Hears it then plays it. I can do a basic one handed melody after hearing a track half a dozen times, this guy full on knocks it out. Brendan you are an utter genius
@@elledaniels3176 Valecia (if I heard her say her name right) said that it is a piece that she learned in music school in Moldova. Though the initial introductory pattern of notes seemed like that of Pushan Bose's Maahi Ve, it isn't as the melody in Maahi Ve differs from the one presented here. Looks like we'll have to ask Valecia to teach us, or at least write the music out for us. 🖊🎵
@@ShanyeSoT It does have a familiar "ring" to it, doesn't it? Kinda reminds me of telenovelas, a.k.a. TV dramas on noontime TV. But I digress... it does sound surprisingly familiar.
What a beautiful piece of music. There are some very talented people our there and it's so good to see them perform in everyday places. Well done to you all xxxx
Lest we forget, there really is a PhD behind the "Dr." in "Dr. K", and he is a trained classical musician who is gifted with perfect pitch and 40 years of experience. He is very talented, but he definitely worked for it.
That's wild that you can just pick up a tune that you've never heard -- and just start playing it. i guess if you're really, really good on the piano, it's no different from humming or whistling. For me anyway, I find it amazing.
Manny, if you look at his other videos or have followed his channel, then you know he has played Passacaglia many multiple times. Here he just did a bit of improv, but he already also has his own version/variation if you will. Dr.K is super talented and skilled, but it is just untrue that he has never heard it when literally there's several videos uploaded by him and playing it.
Thank-you Dr. K … loved this piece of music! Dr. K is right, that was so beautiful Melysia (Sp?) I would like to be able to spend a day close that piano to see all the talent that there is to see! Thank-you for adding sunshine to our day! Much love to you both! ❤️🇨🇦
The girl was playing beutifull a beutifull hym, Thumbs up !!! followed by a nice improvisation on that hym by Brandon, it's a gift if you can play like that.. he just hears it and can play it.
I liked the video before I know that Olesea is from Moldova and I'm your old subscriber from Moldova :) Very nice! (Republic of Moldova is a small country situated between Romania and Ukraine)
I like how you added where moldova was and implied that it was a country just assuming that most people wouldn't be able to point it out on a map and let me tell you... you were spot on lol
Brendan: You have a wonderful mind to be able to improvise so spontaneously!! Imagine the problems you could solve with your experimentation, like solving a tune on the piano!!!
I hope this young girl continues with her music as she is so talented and plays the piano beautifully. Does she have her own you tube channel l wonder? And Brendan this music to me is just magical and so amazing. It touches my heart and helps me to relax .
Love it! Reminds me of the piece they used for the last scene in Pride and Prejudice where Mr Darcy walks towards Elizabeth in the dawn and asks her to marry him. It's the version with Kiera Knightly in.
What the girl played was nice and soft could put me to sleep, and what you played my friend was : let’s kick it up a notch and have couple of beers 🍻 and no sleeping tonight 😂☕️
