Emma's reaction to Dr. K (Brendan Kavanagh) going Rick and Morty high level is amazing to watch. I hope she keeps at the piano and stays in touch with him. So awesome to see young ones with talent!
If you're a passionate musician no matter what you play even if you just engineer, this should bring tears to your eyes like it did to me! There's something magical that happens when a great musician plays great music 🙏🙏🙏 💃🎹🕺
Many thanks for this Clip. I live now since 7 - 8 years alone, and i have not much visitors , it is so wonderful to see her hapiness in their face. It brouht me tears in my eyes, i love it . I was a frontman in a band, but its over and history Danke Peter aus Germany
That was SOOO cool! We knew exactly what was happening when Brendan started "playing dumb" and playing with single digits! Brendan's gotta' be one of the happiest guys on earth because all he does is make people happy and put a smile on their faces!
Growing up I new nothing about music other than I liked to listen to it I couldn't play a radio without static. Now that I'm an old man looking back there really isn't anything I'd change about my life. Watching Dr K does make me wish I would have been interested in the piano because he has so much fun. If it wasn't for my crippled up old hands I would try it today. Thank you Dr K you make me feel young again my foot taps & my head bobs when you start to Boogie.
A teacher recognizes talent and wants to help polish it up. A student recognizes the teacher and happily learns... She has a willing heart and WILL succeed!!! Beautiful!
What I love about these videos is that the joke is never at the expense of the other piano player. They're really nice in helping a man out with the piano and then it becomes clear that he knows how to play :) Everyone's having a great time, including those sitting about in or walking through St Pancras Station (pretty certain that's the piano by the Eurostar exit).
Emma has an infectious smile. The public piano could be ground zero of a new joyful pandemic. Thanks Doctor K and Emma, and a special thanks to the Camera Lady.
@@joequillun7790 this was on 22 July so wouldn't have been mandated here any longer at that point. But yes I agree, they need to go to the dustbin of history
Nice to see you not only tricking her, but then spend quite a bit of time playing with her using the music she knew how to play. One of your most enjoyable videos! Good vibes!
@@gennisparry4352 There is hope in music. Stay away with ur religious advertisement that has nothing to do with it or this youtube channel. Just cuz ur environment indoctrinated u to believe in it doesnt mean this idea/belief needs to have any relevance for other people. More people believing in ur "god" doesnt make her/him/it or whatever u wanna attribute to that entity more ReaL on any level of abstraction. Thanks for understanding.
This has nothing to do with your man in the sky ... this is to do with the human condition and the resourcefulness of mankind.. If you want your God to take credit for this talent then he must also take credit for all the negatives in the world ... No God
I think it's amazing how humble she was the entire time, and just soaked you in. I think you may have inspired her even more and I hope she continues with her passion! That was awesome.
I still get such a kick out of Brenda acting like it is very new to the piano and can't remember where notes are ! This really was a great video, Emma's reaction is so cool !
Emma, you were blessed to be with someone to share such enthusiasm for a keyboard and music. Well done! He'd be a great instructor, due to his absolutely contagious love of music. I hope he mentors you.
Emma is a Gorgeous lady and you sir, are a Gentleman with a kind heart. You probably helped that girl more than you know. It made me want to play Piano too.!
I bloody love you Brendan. I love watching their faces when you reveal your true piano skills. Makes me laugh everytime. Keep doing this. It’s brilliant.
Toccata and Fugue! One of the most delightful songs especially to those of us fans of horror, so dark and menacing. Doc K you put a spin on this and it was lovely!!!! Thank you!!!
Shovelhead- never heard it on piano before. Stumbled upon a dude playing Mozart's Nachtmusic on a guitar- banjo the other day. Should've dropped Oh Fortuna- Carl Orff on 'em.
This is my favorie video !!! This teen girl's awestruck expression while listening to and watching Brendan's unmatched gift at playing the piano displays many viewers appreciation of Brendan videos on you tube.
Emma very beautiful. Thanks Dr. K for making this young lady see past what she thought was her ability. She will treasure this moment the rest of her life.
You know, this brings me so much joy. I love how you welcome all levels of talent and allow them to express what they know and how they learn from you and how you embrace what they bring to the occasion.
The expression on Emma's face when all was revealed was priceless. You rascal Brendan. Superbly entertaining stuff ... Double 👍👍 from me. Not for the first time.
Wow, she's a really good teacher1. I want to take lessons with her and play like that! That guy is so lucky to have met her in that station, it must have changed his life!!
I love that this guy not only shows the world his amazing gift, but, is also so openly willing to give what he can to others, if they are Emma enough to accept it:-) It is heartwarming, and the world needs as much of this as we can get! So...Thank you!
@@CharlesLeaverSouthAfrica Yes, and isn't she the most charming young lady one could possibly imagine..? Btw: the piece at the beginning was a church music from J S Bach which is supposed to be played on a huge church organ, the bigger the better. If you hear it from cd or on YT via headphone or a strong HiFi speaker system it will give you goose bumps all over. You don't need to be religious for that. I once heard it some 40 years ago beeing played on the organ in the "Freiburger Münster", a cathedral in southern Germany. I was totally overwhelmed by the music and especially by the sound of the organ in that church..!
Love the music! Love the surprise on the faces of the people when they hear Brendan play. I do wish he had a microphone so we could hear what he's saying.
@@td315 chilax she knew it was awkward but didn't know where it was going. She ended up pleasantly surprised - probably that it was actually about the piano and not some other dumb sh*t not related that she was getting herself reeled into.
That was a delightful video. The way you accepted Miss Emma and encouraged her to relax and play was marvelous. I'd NEVER heard "Toccata and fugue in D minor" done quite like that. it cured my grumpy mood.
Dr. K has created a new form of musical education blending his performance skills with the idea of singing in the public square of the global village on RU-vid. He makes a joke of his academic credentials (Dr K) though he actually has a PhD - but he truly is mentor and professor to hundreds of young (and not so young) musicians. It seems to me he never "tricks" anyone in a way that makes them feel bad about themselves. If anything, he embodies the "trickster" in mythology that gets people to perform at a level beyond what they would have thought possible. Well done.
Brendan your Videos and entertaining impromptu duets are so uplifting and are an absolute TONIC Should be prescribed on the NHS Thanks Emma, your brilliant and stunning. Good luck to you.
Just to digress. The other day I came across something that surpasses all your past and your future. You were playing on a white piano but do not know where and you had a little boy on your lap who had, apparently been having a tantrum. You played "Danny Boy" and that child hardly moved watching you play. It was the best version of that song - which I am not fond of - I have ever heard. You may have started that child on a musical career!! It was absolutely gorgeous and I have just got find it again. Thanks a thousand. I will never forget your compassion or your humanity among such brilliance and talent. Hope you read this.
