Well, the walls would give in from the inwards pressure, so irrespective of how she would attempt to keep the inflow of rain water under control, she'd have to get out pretty quickly before it all collapses!! Great work, however. Would be interesting to know how long she took. My guess is that this is easily one month's worth or work.
@@elainemartenévidemment on voit la bâche, mais le problème c’est l’entrée de sa cabane qu’elle sur aurait dû faire en contrebas et alors sa construction était parfaite
I think she is a very talented young lady . Every step she took, she knew what she was doing. I have not seen a young lady work like she did. I was ready amazed by just watching her. I live in South Carolina in the United States of America
Apart from the bullshit of the word VILLA, hats off to this girl ( I've already seen in similar companies) whose origin I imagine: Vietnamese! Then I would like to ask her a few questions: how long did it REALLY take you? # humidity ? # given your meal... wouldn't you want to hunt prey with your hands, instead of eating something perhaps from the supermarket? # do you want to try smiling... and also doing something slowly? You'd really would like to deal with her, rather than with any real estate agency!
You do know these videos are fake right? She's either not doing this alone or being helped with power tools and equipment. She produces one of these video once a week and some of then she would have to dig out a massive mound of earth alone yeah that's not happening.
You do realize all of these “primitive channels “ show the start of each phase with the one person, but have a whole crew doing stuff between cuts and not using primitive tools.
@@prime2669 No, It Doesnt; goen is pointing out some things that many viewers dont realize bcs they dont have building Experience. & Other details like Anti-Cave-In Reinforcements or On Who's land It was Built on bcz the Laws Are A-H in that aspect, & Only one source of Fresh air (= CO2 Asphiation). But YES Its a True work Of Art & Very Time consuming & Ingenius creativity
It's really mostly fake. That would have took a month. She has a team that does most of it. She just comes in at key parts of the video. She does massive structures once a week. There's no way she's doing it all by herself. It's still a good video to watch very interesting.
This young lady did an amazing job making this underground structure, and I respect her a lot for what she did here, and showing the methods she used was educational too. Having said all that, there are some discrepancies that I may be mistaken about. Such as: the dirt she dug out of the ground is obviously dry clay (dirt?). I cannot see the structure holding up like this for long, it would eventually collapse, especially when it rains, not unless it was meant for the project to be temporary and just to get a video out? And how could she dig that much and not get winded? And the sun barely moved. so this had to have been done over several days? Regardless, much respect for putting out this video!
Well said & your right had to take seve days I know I do this kind of work & I havnt dug a hole yet large or small & not encountered obstacles like stones & roots. Still very impressive though
@@garyclarke9685Absolutely. This project is still doable as a long term dwelling, but it would take spraying concrete onto the interior walls (do I have that right?) and more. As a temp project, not worth the work, and she should have gave kind of disclaimer. A good watch regardless.
Well wishes from you guys. This was done by a team of people over the course of a month. Really think… the battery alone in the camera would need charging. The angles. How about no sweat or a word spoken. Hmmm. Nice RU-vid video.
She definitely knows how to use the tools. Look at her shoulders and arms - they appear to be solid, well toned muscles. I don't know how many days or weeks it took her to build the shelter. I've about 90% completed 12ft x 24ft goat barn that I started building 2-3 years ago. I did have problems with the roof leaking and had a contractor send out 2 men who redid the roof in about 4 hours. I need to finish the front Dutch door and build a rear door, and finish the other four stalls. (first four are being used for goats kidding already), for a total of 8 stalls.Cut the boards for the floor joints, made the walls in sections so I could move and set them up myself, put in 6 windows, nailed and screwed the entire place together by myself. BTW I'll going to be 68 next month. I AM WOMAN!
@dmel4905 I watched my Dad do some woodworking when I was a child. Then, about 10 years ago, I took a 3-day course on how to use hand tools - nothing powered. We each built an open wooden toolbox with a handle, then in pairs, each pair made a saw horse. The last day and a half, 5 students built a 4ft×8ft storage building for the community that taught ALL SORTS of classes. As the teacher said, if you can build a box, you can build most anything. Take it slow, learn from your mistakes- I made a lot of them, and remember that your body and abilities (both positive in knowledge and some negative in strength) will change. Things don't have to be perfect, just good enough to do their job. Just remember , just because the tag says it's a dog run, it may be perfect (with bird netting on top) to be a chicken run, or a place to separate a new goat mom and kid from the herd, or separate the fast growing male kids from any females...I have 3 10ft x 10ft runs and they have been used for all of the above. AND once you learn something, see if any of your neighbors want to learn and teach them. It only takes one brave soul to say "I know such and such, do you need help" or "You seem to know how to do that. Can you teach me?"
Watching you dig straight down was making me wish I could dig holes so quickly...living on land that is mostly rocks and clay over bedrock--.every tree planted on our homestead requires many hours of wedging out jagged compacted rock. More rock than soil up here... never saw soil like yours that is so easy to dig except when we visit the beach.
Rocky soil in central Arkansas, too. I don’t even try to dig when I plant daffodil bulbs. My neighbor, a master gardener, told me to use bags of dirt on top of the soil and plant bulbs into the mounds. And so I have-over 1000 of them (so far)!
If im in the middle of nowhere. I want her by my side . She is beautiful , intelligent , smart and knows how to build something amazing out of nothing . I watch her often and find myself totally infatuated and mesmerized by her .
🌸 probably just one guy her boyfriend or she has done it like all other RU-vidrs It’s hard work but not impossible Have you seen how tiny hole is, you don’t honestly think more than two people can fit in there 😂 I have watched loads of vids where it’s one person, they put camera down and film themselves walking past camera etc I myself have done few effects, it’s not difficult
Amazing! She is the hardest working woman I've ever seen. Super talented. That must be a particular type of dirt/clay to keep it's shape. And probably would have to be sprayed with something to keep it from collapsing when it rains.
This young lady has done many of these videos, many in time lapse. So please stop calling the videos fake. She is extremely hard working and deserves credit.
Wow! Talk about genius. This young kid is amazing! She can handle pretty much anything. But the idea of being alone withought even a pet for company does‘nt really appeal to me as well as not having a cell or other contingency in an emergency. I wish her a healthy and long and safe life. ❤
I don't want to lessen your admiration of her skills and hard work, however we only see 26 minutes of what had to have taken many hours of actual labor. She would have to edit her video for the sake of time and not to weary her audience.
yep, no drainage, no shedding of groundwater. The entrance is a funnel in effect. That is a monsoon swimming hole. The material that was excavated out could easily build a hump over the wood. Just add extra wood for strength, hump up the center, cover with a tarp and then dirt and then vegetation. And then spend the time to make an upward sloping entryway from the low side of the hill. This is just a variation of a soddy or the much older pit house. This was a very creative approach that just needs a little tweaking.
🌸This is Singapore, so she built it outside of their rainy season Which is Dec to Jan, can be up to March Rest of year it’s fabulous weather It’s only a video for entertainment, it’s not where she is going to live forever
@@laurentpolus5299 There are quite a few people doing this and some have been fully exposed with teams of people using mechanical equipment in areas that are easily accessible.
Wait till monsoon season and see how long it lasts, I know I wouldn’t be staying in that death trap that’s for sure, yea she did a good job on it but that’s a death trap if it rains.
This is probably Vietnam or Taiwan. If it's Vietnam then the ground is really hard to dig. If it is, it's probably self supporting. The underground tunnels that the US troops ran into were in the same type of ground. It's very hard. And with an arch built into the roof of the systems they could support the weight of a Main Battle Tank or MBT if it was 10 feet or deeper! The only thing I question is how does it hold up during the Monsoon season?!
This women knows her dirt / material rocks etc. love her videos. I don’t think these shelters are used long term. But what a person to take camping with or if you had to be stranded somewhere in the wild to have her with you. You go girl !
This clay substrata she is working with looks fabulous to work with. I’m currently building a stone cottage and I truly wish I’d had the same here, as mine was schist rocks and boulders, interwoven with tree roots. Took me six months 24/7 just to dig the foundations Then again every cloud has a silver lining and I’ll never have to worry about subsidence 😎
I've seen comments that suggest that women who do these videos are not the 'real deal'.. well .. this one clearly is. Whether she gets help or not can't be seen but as far as.. the way she holds that shovel and digs, the natural dirt marks on her clothes (and she is dirty - show me someone shovelling dirt who stays clean please!). and she's fit. I'm jealous much.
What if that area would get a massive rain where are the Flood Control System and there should Socks on the perforated 4” pipe especially with Sandy Soil in that area With a very good down hill
I'd put my money on her. She's in much better shape then you so what. Don't hate because of that.. also that's not just some regular dirt... it's really easy to dig through (compared do average dirt this stuff us very dry and light and holds its shape well.) Next time think before you speak. And try saying something nice for once. You can really make someones day. Let me also mention, there are tons of these videos on Y.T. and people make fortresses in just a day or two. With pools, firepits and everything.
Next time maybe just say, something like.. ."that's dope!" Just try it.. you just might feel better about yourself too. Oh yeah don't let me forget, she's a much harder worker than you. Blows your work ethic out the water my dude. No doubt she did this in just a couple days...
Look. For all we viewers know, this entire production was choreographed. She had a camera crew; she probably had more than just that. Looking at the position of shadows from scene to scene can help in determining production value, but it's all still a production. This is. In essence, just tv. Maybe we believe what we think we see too quickly.
And how many month of work if 1 person would do it alone and additionally need to find food. Diging a bit in the forest with all the roots is very slow
All true , points. But its not about, how long the digging and who helped her. The title is click bait. Its about being creative enough, to turn , a simple strip of flat land, into a "jungle " dwelling. Without building plans. Modern day homes are built ,surface leave going up. Here its opposite, from ground level going down, to create a simply out of "jungle " or natural resources using a creative mind fueled with willpower. Mind over matter🤣🤣🤣
I love these videos❤. I need to know what your tools are called. The stick you use for digging? Also you carry a big knife, others have a half moon cutting stick... what the name of that one?
Tutto programmato per il video, anche i pali di legno già pronti all' uso. In caso di pioggia torrenziale la botola si riempie d'acqua, viverci è una realtà, trascorrere qualche giorno è altro. Comunque brava la buona volontà viene premiata. ❤❤❤❤❤
Not true. a lot of people just like the sound of the digging and stuff like that like myself so I will like her even though she’s not talking works out wonderful for me❤
Of course it is, it's theatre. But it appears that people enjoy this pretend adventure stuff even if it is faked, with a crew of helpers off camera. I guess the people who make this stuff know that most visitors to the site understand its make believe? Show business, simple!
She brought that stuff with her, in a cooler, likely. Along with the pots and pan. Idk why people are so critical of this. Enjoy it, or don’t. I think it’s pretty cool. 😊
@@ASBO_LUTELY I was thinking the same thing. It seems a very dry sandy soil she is working with. But hey she did a lot better than I could do, a lot of work.
@martinwingfield7739 Why must there be a couple of blokes helping her ? Chauvinistic/ sexist? Much? I know quite a few women on building sites that can keep up / just as good as the men.
