I have never knit the Ranunculus but have been tempted to buy it just to see why everyone loves it so much out of all the thousands of other patterns on ravelry out there and if there are others like it, it kind of sounds like it is written out like Petite Knits Novice Sweater pattern. . I do love your color choices.
I've knit a bunch of Ranunculus also. They all look different. Different length sleeves, different yarns, not all of the lace on some. I love them all. It is, I think the number one pattern knit of all time! One of the reasons I love it is because you don't need a ton of yarn to make it. Both of yours are beautiful. I like the shine on the pink one.
Marilisa what a great video. Really a thorough endorsement of the ranunculas pattern. Also a great description of the yarn you used and you make it so easy to find something to substitute with. I'm knitting my Ranunculus 2.0 right now! My first is in Cashmere People Cashgora yarn and I love it!! #2 is a summer version in Moondrake Merino Linen. I appreciate you sharing how you knit your short sleeves and I just put a marker on the front of my sweater so I don't lose it!! (although I don't think my short rows are as perfect as yours) 🤣🤣🤣 -Kate
