Just to quickly add to the “raze the bikini area” question: having hair down there is 100000% normal and it’s suppose to be there, it has a reason hence it existing. It acts as a barrier to prevent bacteria from going inside you. Removal of hair down there only became popular in 90s due to the adult film industry. If you prefer being hairless down there then you do you but please remember that there is nothing gross or unnatural of having hair down there ☺️
The adult film industry has done serious damage in the levels of unrealistic & unreasonable expectations of/for women. It's scary there's a whole generation of boys who think they're learning all they need to from those films.
@@Katherineejohnn www.nhs.uk/news/lifestyle-and-exercise/many-women-think-shaving-pubic-hair-is-hygienic/ as long as someone washes regularly (which should just be done regardless of preference) its quite the opposite really
@@Katherineejohnn The link I sent previously debunks what you're saying. I personally believe there is nothing wrong with trimming but thinking it prevents infections or bacteria entering the body is incorrect. Dr Christian from embarrassing bodies has also said that covid is a case of a bad cold, been involved with boasting that he has access to mephedrone amongst over drugs. I'm going take the advise of the national health service and my higher education in biology over him. The only thing that having public hair has increased chances of is lice which is rare.
I met my Husband when i was 18. We got our mortgage when i was 23 and engaged at 25, married 27 and now im 29 and loving life. No babies on the cards but two cats 🥰 There is no timeline. Do things when your ready and Sophie said everything perfectly in her video ♡ Love you soph! Been watching your vids feom nail art days xxx ♡♡♡
I'm also a small boob lady and I totally have to agree that stopping with the padded pushup bras everyday helped me so much to get more comfortable with them. I've recently discovered that I love wearing cute sports bras and bralettes with just a normal thin padding instead...and hell it's so much more comfortable too 😂 I think the fact that my boobs never even filled the padded pushup bras properly just made me feel worse about it. Now I am more accepting of how cute they are all comfy and secure in a bralette or sports crop instead 😄
I am someone with more medium size boobs and honestly I would love to be someone that can go without padded bras. Every time they go into the laundry the pads end up escaping or messing up and it’s a pain to fix. But at the same time I have never gone braless and feel like I want to try, but at the same time..... worried they will be bouncing as I move and I don’t know what to feel about that.
@@jessierose5319 I grew up as small breasted (that's a weird way to say that lol) but gained weight in my early 20s so now am more medium too. I often go braless and agree its a weird sensation for them to jiggle as I walk but there is definitely something freeing about it and I've never noticed anyone staring or saying I'm weird or gross. I'd definitely recommend an un-padded sports bra for every day, they are sooooo comfy and give you basic support without the messy pads. Confidence without the faff, recommend!
@@jessierose5319 I still feel a bit weird if I go completely bra-less when I leave the house even though I have like barely any boobs 😄 I just feel like...I donno...naked? Like I'm leaving the house without pants on. I guess it's just such a habit, even though it actually feels so freeing. I think for me I dont worry about them jiggling around cuz there ain't much to jiggle...but I need something to just "smooth things out" to be more streamlined. You know what I mean? What am I even saying 😂
@@Shannonstorm93 Don't worry, I'm like that too, I totally understand the feeling of 'nakedness' if I don't wear one, even though I don't really need to. The only time I take it off is when I'm going into the shower 😂
Literally the first thing you said "when you take your bra off your boobs dissappear" #ittybittytittycomittee Don't think ive related to something so much in my life 😂😂 you are such in inspiration Soph ❤️❤️
I love Soph's vibes. She is what she is. I follow other youtubers that are more of that IG model pattern and I don't identify myself with them, they look too superficial and fake and Soph looks more of a normal person and so do Jazzybum and Sophie Louise.
I started dating my husband when I was 17 and I’m now 40 and we are still going strong. We just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. It’s awesome Soph that you resonate will people of all ages. Love you & your channel!
I actually love the fact she has put in images of her using the tea tree products from years ago. So many creators just want you to take their word for it so they can get that dough 😘 love you soph ❤️
For periods cramps, my friend gave me a great solution is to apply pressure to your lower back, like putting a harder pillow behind you when you sit, or getting your partner or friend to rest their knee in your lower back
I agree with this, I've found getting my partner to rub my lower back in circular motions (like a birthing partner would during labour) really helps to take the pressure off.
sophdoeslife The best thing I’ve ever done was get one. It’s been eight years I think since I’ve used anything else and the thought of using something made of cotton gives me the heebejeebies
@@emmahaworth1227 yes!! I used to always get such irritated skin from pads, and didn't want to use tampons. (They're uncomfortable to me) but the period cup is the absolute best! (I wear it with thinx underwear sometimes which is also really nice)
I love these types of videos because it shows how down to earth Soph is and I love how open she is about answering personal questions so people know they're not on their own, thanks Soph for being an angel💗
I got married at 16 and at the end of this month we will be married for 4 years. The beginning was tough but our relationship is better than ever now and we grow together both of us leveling up each year ❤️
Iris Tadie sure 💕 we met in high school I was sophomore and he was a senior - we dated and I ended up staying with him (because my parents went away for the summer and I didn’t want to leave him) then I just never moved out. We ended up deciding to get married a year a half later! My birthday is in September so it was like two weeks before I turned 17
When I saw the title I was like "I'm 40 and makes me feel to old" but I love your channel so I'm not going anywhere 😂 Ps I started dating my now husband at 15, 25 years later we're still going strong :)
honestly soph your such a great role model. I‘m 26 and I think you set a very good example for younger people and I love that you set the focus on consent in this video. ❤️
As a 40-year old married mom of two... I'm very impressed with your relationship advice and your encouragement to younger people regarding their bodies. Well done!
Soph, you think your teenage self taking off makeup with a wipe was bad - when I was 14-15 I would quite often skip the wipes and go to bed with my makeup on and put more on top of it next morning! 🤮🤮 I've no idea why I did that! So gross 😂
The biggest crime against my skin I commited as a teen was squeezing lemon juice on my face and keeping it on like a mask because I read somewhere that it helps acne and discolouration lmao.
I really like how you work with brands that you really love and do ads for products that you really use and like. I think i've been watching you for 2 years now and I clearly remember the times when you used those products in some videos. I love you for being true and honest. Stay safe!
You can actually use Noriday at a higher dose for endometriosis, so if it doesn't settle then ask if they can tweak your dose (or refer you to a gynaecologist) - If a gynaecologist offers you the Leuprorelin injections then i'd suggest making sure you've tried everything else first. It's a pretty brutal treatment and looking back it was far worse than the symptoms from my endometriosis, so definitely not worth it in my case! x
ohhh really! I was referred to a gyno but they said the only way to test if it’s endo is to do the keyhole surgery, so I chickened out 😂 right now it’s much more manageable but thank you for this!!
sophdoeslife did they really say that! One of my close friends had a pregnancy scare so she went to the gyno and it turns out it was her endometriosis. They were able to diagnose her without a surgery.
I can second this - Lupron (leuprolide generic) absolutely destroyed me from head to toe (I had to register as disabled age 12!) and while it’s administered for endo, it’s primary role is as a chemotherapy medication for terminally ill prostate cancer patients. research EVERYTHING about this drug before you go on it, although of course it is absolutely your choice. I just hate to see other women like me go from perfectly healthy (minus the endo or hormone imbalances) to suffering chronically - almost ten years later and I’m still suffering side effects from it sadly / so many of us fighting the FDA to review it. stay strong, soph!!!! :)
@@madimakesmusica Get them to check your cortisol levels. As it works by suppressing your pituitary gland, mine never started working again and I now have secondary adrenal insufficiency (similar to addisons disease) - If you have any tiredness, random bouts of sickness, get every bug going it's worth looking into. The first check is an 8am cortisol and acth blood test. I was never warned this could be an issue so now I make it my mission to inform everyone who has had the injections that it's a possibility, as it's a life threatening illness!
I love how natural Soph is! She's so uplifting, and I love her honesty when it comes to brand deals. She spent a good 6 mins speaking about the body shop products in detail, like she knows that shit back to front and is clearly wanting to help us, she ain't manipulating us!
it makes my heart happy when you use gender-inclusive language when you talk, like saying a guy OR girl you're seeing. i'm a lesbian and it's so easy to feel like no one sees me because people so often speak in ways that enforce heteronormativity. i love watching your videos and it's so wonderful to have an ally
It’s actually crazy how similar me and soph are. Personalities wise, insecurities wise, we are also both an Aquarius. Similar interests, our fashion styles. Crazy! I hope I meet u one day, because u are amazing ❤️
Hey Soph, thankyou for the mini mention of endometriosis! As a sufferer and advocate for the condition I 100% respect you and appreciate the fact you’ve told others to seek advice from a doctor, for someone with a platform such as yours to mention that means so much to the endo community! 👏🏻❤️
Love this video Soph! The teatree bodyshop range has been a god send for my skin! Also I definitely recommend tampon users to try a menstrual cup at some point! They seem scary but they are so hassle free when you get used to them, saves loads of money & better for the environment xx
To anyone going into a long-distance relationship: try to have end goals, like a point when you know you will see your partner so you have something to count down too. It's way easier when you have an end or a break (from long distance) in sight! ❤️
In terms of your period pain, it honestly sounds like Endometriosis. It took 5 years and so many different Drs to get diagnosed. I also had to push for surgery and then they found it! It's honestly the most horrible condition 😭
Birth control pills definitely make a difference, if you can take them. I usually take a combo of Advil and Tylenol, and use a heating pad. Also, it may be gross, but a good ol' orgasm works wonders!
@@sophdoeslife Unfortunately that's right but it's a very simple keyhole surgery and once you're diagnosed your Drs tend to take your pain more seriously. Also I'm really sorry you're in pain (even if it's not Endo). I have an Endo awareness page on Instagram called @EndoAware2020 if you're interested. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have too 💛✨
If you’re reading this remember you’re amazing, stay safe and whatever you’re going through will work out in the end and have a great day/night! From a small RU-vid channel x
Ive been with my boyfriend since 17 and it's been serious since then, I'm now 20, but then I have friends who can't imagine settling down now so it really depends on the person!
It’s so weird how at home I feel watching Sophs videos. I’ve watched her since she had around 300k a few years back and her voice has just become so familiar! You’re like a big sister to me. Love you Soph ❤️❤️
Your opinion on the one sided relationship is what I really need to hear rn ~ I keep blaming myself for what happen like everyday, couldn't even sleep thinking of it because after I talk about it, things didn't really turn out okay, instead he keep pointing the problem on me, my thoughts and etc , he said I'm being ridiculous for saying those words . Glad that it ends but it still painful to bear tbh ~ but thank you soph, I really love this video ♥️♥️♥️
You are so down to Earth it’s so nice to hear genuine advice that you truly believe in, love this video! Sorry to hear you were having a down week and I hope you’re feeling much better 🥰
I completely agree with changing the people you follow on Instagram for more body confidence!! I recently had a baby and the pages I followed were making me feeling really rubbish about my post baby body but I got rid of those pages and started following pages for body confidence in mums and it makes me feel a lot better to see that how I look now is completely fine!!
Menstrual cup tips!! 1) keep trying. It took me a few periods to nail it. There were a lot of midnight calls to friends freaking out because I couldn’t get it out 2) if you feel like it’s stuck, take an hour before trying to remove again. Take a bath or shower and relax. Try to take it out an hour or two before it must be out just to give yourself wiggle room lol 3) same thing with insertion. If it’s not going in take a break and try again later 4) do your kegels. Sometime using your muscles to help push out the cup helps a lot ❤️ good luck everyone with your menstrual cup adventures. I’ve been using it for five years now and will never go back to pads and tampons
Hi Soph! I just want to say that I love how open and caring you are. As a gay male, there are a few things I obviously can’t relate to, but I love how inclusive you are when you talk about issues. I always look forward to your videos. So much love and respect from the U.S. ❤️
Ugh omg 😫 when you said go grab a hot chocolate, I did exactly that and spilt it on my white sheets! And to make matters worse my mum had just told me off for taking everything up to my room! But surprisingly most of it came out but yeah that’s not fun 😋
I LOVE The Body Shop! I worked for them for years. My mom actually worked there every holiday season for many years too. Not only are their products amazing, but the company is one of the best out there. I used the Tea Tree everyday in my teens.
Menstural cup is an absolute game changer! 💖It has saved me so much money. Tips: I find the easiest way to get it in is using the “punch down” fold and aim towards the back, then feel around to see if it has opened fully then pull on the little tail bit and if you feel a suction then it’s probably open properly. (Remember you won’t get a perfect circle depending how you’re sitting/ standing) If you’re a beginner take it out in the shower it will be easier as you can do all the angles to get it out ;) if anyone has anymore questions feel free to drop them here! Good luck!💖🙌
I am another person who found love and stuck with it. Been with my fella since I was 16years old (11 years ago) still together and going strong. Brought a house and now planning a wedding for October! We've gone through alot but we've survived! I love the moto, you do you! 🖤
I’ve watched you for more than a year now and I can honestly say that your skin has gotten a lot better! As someone who also deals with acne it just made me feel so happy because I know how much of a struggle it can be. Anyways just wanted to say that you look gorgeous in this video, the makeup is flawless and you should definelly wear red more, itlooks stunning on you❤️🥰
Period cramp top tip. Deep heat!!! Especially if you are at work or school or something because you cant walk around with a hot water bottle but it still gives the same relief!!
I like your usual content so much but there was something extra special about this one. Loved it! ❤️ Thank you for being open and honest! You seem extremely genuine and sincere! 🤗
Thank you for the message for small boobs. Honestly, i feel like i have someone who understands my small boob insecurities. And you not getting a boob job helps me accept my body shape more. Because i dont feel as left out as before
I took your recommendation for the Body Shop Tea Tree range and I loved it. It changed my daily skincare to be more self-care and conscious choice. My favorite is the oil drops. I recently left a long term abusive relationship. Now that I am on my own, I realize how unhealthy it was. I grew as a person and now have expectations of how I should be treated. Thanks for being there Soph.
I love listening to your chats and Q&As. I wish I had someone like you when I was a late teen to hear those opinions and thoughts on. Love watching your channel ❤
Hi soph! I HAD to leave a comment on this video. I loved it so much, I love how real you are and you’ve really opened my eyes to some things going on in my life. I have always given myself a bad time about my body, constantly checking the mirror to see if my stomach is flat enough, etc. This is 100% down to the people I follow on Instagram! I am definitely gonna take it upon myself to unfollow people that make me feel less confident and follow people that make me feel positive! Thank you so much for this advice🥺I enjoy your videos so much and would definitely love to see more videos like these😚❤️
I'm so very jealous and sad that my skin has allergic reactions to tea tree oil 😭 the body shop is still the best though, I love their camomile make up removing butter thingy
I’m 22 and married, my love isn’t my first boyfriend but we have known each other and been friends since 8th grade so the speed of our relationship made sense for us.
At 23 I was in a serious relationship and a mum of a 2yr old lol. I met my old man when I was 18/19 and now I'm 38 and we're still together it's our 20th anniversary next March 😊 I had two more cheebies one in 2007 and another in 2009. After having the kids i was diagnosed with Menhorragia and tried all kinds of contraceptives that didn't put me at risk of a third blood clot - mini pill, implant, mirena, none of it worked for me and I was back and forth at the doctors and gynae, until sometime during 2014 when I snapped at my gynae and demanded a second opinion, and I was given my old ob who I'd had in my pregnancies. I told him the situ, and he was like right, clip sterilisation and endometrial ablasion. Nearly 7yrs later and I've not had a period since! Bloody bliss!
Just a word of warning about undiluted tea tree oil - Soph you are absolutely right in saying that it’s too harsh. I am a nurse and recently had a patient see me for chemical burns to her feet after her mum applied undiluted tea tree oil to parts of her skin to help heal a bruise. This probably is a very obvious no-no but please don’t apply straight tea tree oil to your skin. Take care beauties. Sending love from Melbourne, Soph 🥰💕
i really loved this video!! i felt like i was hearing a friend talking. And that part about living with your boyfriend is so true. I have been dating for 9 months now but when we were 6 months into the relationship, we got to spend an entire month together, almost 24/7 together and i think it only made our relationship better. We didn't fought at all, we just had little bickering about house stuff but other than that was amazing. It just made me more excited for the future!!
