You'll love when you start styling. You can even do the old school dubi wrap with them. Use magnetic rollers with the caps/cover, water or light leave in, air dry or go under the dryer. After dried, duby wrap with your fingers and some pins. Wrap with satin scarf. Couple hours later shake or take down with fingers in the direction you wrapped. It comes out so nice if you're tired if the right curl look and looking for something sleek for an occasion. I got so much compliments with this style.
I'm in the same group and I was diluting from the beginning, I saw people saying it but my Consultant made a good point, she said, it doesn't make a difference because when the water touches it, it's diluting it😂 Made sense to me and it saves me money because I don't go through it as fast.
Hi Jenell I think your hair looks beautiful and I like how you did the flat twist out with them. I have been watching you for a long time and I have learned a lot about my hair and how to tell what my hair needs and likes. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary of being sisterlocked in December. I love that my hair has flourished and how my locks have gotten thicker. FYI you can buy rose water much cheaper from an Indian grocery store. The food grade version is just as good if not better and you’ll probably go through a lot of it. I’m loving your sister locs! I chose traditional locs for cheaper and less maintenance but I love the sister loc look!

There’s look a lot sparser than yours, their ends are mostly loose and theirlocks don’t look like they dropped until much later. Idk yours look a lot more mature .

The Sisterlock shampoo is one of the biggest cons about SL, 17 months in and I hate washing my hair I still haven’t been able to find a shampoo I like but I stopped using it after like month 3. In my opinion diluting or not diluting it doesn’t make a difference.

GREATEST Blessings,Jenell! I use Avenno skin are products. My retightings for my sister locs are about $130-$140. My loctician lives about 50 minutes away from me. Thank goodness she lives in CT also. I go every 6 weeks, if I take longer then that the price is higher.
My maintenance is distilled water with rosemary, tea tree essential oil, jojoba,and argon oil mixed in. I started using use the JBCO Shea moisture shampoo after the starter sisterlocks shampoo finished.
Oh and there's a trick to getting more volume with sisterlocks. My trick is after washing, I twist my locs in two strand twist to the right,and at take down I style the curls to the left. Instant volume when I do it like that. As your locs grow,volume increases also.

Do NOT manipulate your locs too much. Too much manipulation can put stress on the hair. Also moisture but nothing that softens the hair that will loosen the locs. :)
