Girl if you look in the background while the warrens are in their house, there’s scenes that have letters in the background that spell out the nuns name. The letters were in drawings, on book shelves and being spelled out in beads on a necklace. The makers of this film paid such close attention to detail, I love it

I highly respect you for enduring this even though it understandably scares you to such an extent. And if you love one shot scenes, you have to try and watch Haunting of Hill House. Has a 17 minute one shot scene, it's amazing.

I think her watching 'Gerald's Game' would be a really great commentary, especiallyally since it's horror and now it's October. Also, this is a side note, but I also think it'd be super cool to watch her react to the 'Twitches' movies, the first and second one, since both of those movies loosely have a Halloween theme too. I think either or both of these suggestions sound great since they fit into the theme of spooky season.

Fun fact the original conjuring house still exists and they tried to do a lot of cleansing but whoever came to cleanse the place was hurt so now people are even scared to go there to cleanse the place and once a person who was a medium aka a person who can see and speak to the dead went there they were tossed across the room by a demon bcuz they tried to exorcise it

THE CONJURING 2 VS THE REAL LIFE ENFIELD POLTERGIEST CASE THINGS THE MOVIE GOT RIGHT (ACCORDING TO THE HODGSONS): -the hauntings started immediately after Janet and Margaret played the Ouija board. -they heard strange knockings from the walls. -Peggy, the mom, begged for help from the neighbors. -the man who lived in the house before the Hodgsons really did pass away in that chair. -the Warrens were there (sorta, I'll explain). WHERE THIS MOVIE FALLS APART ON ACCURACY/THIS WHOLE CASE MIGHT'VE BEEN A HOAX: -Ed and Lorraine did go to the Enfield house, but they were only there for a day then left. -They weren't the only paranormal investigators there and had a much less significant role in the case than the movie suggests (for obvious reasons). -Janet's ''levitation'' has been called into question because it seemed more like an exasperated jump if anything, especially the way she is positioned if you look at the pictures closely. -The crosses in their house never turned upside down. -The children were caught faking things for attention during the investigation. Investigators caught the kids bending spoons on their own (you can do this by repeatedly rubbing the back of a spoon and it will eventually bend, try it out if you don't believe me). -Janet was caught practicing talking in her ''possessed'' voice numerous times. -Janet and her siblings admitted to faking some of their ''paranormal'' experiences to get the attention of investigators. -Janet publicly admitted that some of the story was fabricated on their end, though she only say 2% of the story was fabricated (take this confession with a grain of salt on whether you believe her or not). -In 1980 when interviewed about how it felt to be haunted by a poltergeist in her own home, Janet said; ''it's not haunted.'' THERE YOU GO, HOPE YOU CAN SLEEP BETTER NOW KNOWING THIS INFORMATION!

Fun story: before quarantine I had a sleepover with two of my friends. We were reading scary stories from this website and I saw one with a creepy looking picture. I told my friends and showed them and one was like "we should read that one". It was called The Crooked Man. It was this poem about a guy with scoliosis or something. Basically at the end it "do not read this aloud or you and everyone in the house will be cursed by the Crooked Man to be haunted by hime until you give up and kill yourself".... I'm still waiting for him to show😕

On the topic of home made ouija: In brazil, they don't sell ouija games in stores. A lady once tried to market a game similar and it was pulled from the shelves real quick. That said, we have a home made version of it that involves making the alphabeth and the words and using a glass to point to them. I've seen shit happening with it and we have our own crazy stories with it.
