@@sarangbaag9982 goku literally spent most of gohan's early childhood saving him. Literally dying for him. But BAD father...alright sure lol. Raditz, saiyan saga, ginyu force, frieza. Spent years with him training him, spending time with him. I swear dragonball abridge melted people's brains with that stuff.
@@LetsBringPeace it sure did some fools didn’t even watch the original Z and went straight to abridged but think they know everything It blows my mind 😂😂
@@sarangbaag9982 He was there for Gohan in this very episode. He was there to provide psychological support and motivation. You guys judge fatherhood the wrong way and think it's just about being physically around and being a breadwinner. A father that's able to instill confidence and motivation in their son is a great father, and it's arguable the single most important trait a father can have. And it's something a lot of fathers in real life don't know how to do. Goku is a great father.
I really think that apology from Vegeta to Gohan was layered. I think Vegeta was sorry he couldn't do more at that moment. Sorry that he didn't destroy Cell in his Semi-Perfect form. Sorry that his attempt to avenge Trunks led to Gohan's injury.
Vegeta apologizing to Gohan is very telling, and here's the cool thing Gohan is the only character Vegeta ever apologized to. Loved Cell's flashback, and for Vegeta, letting Cell absorb 18 was payback for humiliating him from the their first fight. With Gohan using one Arm in a way of paying homage to Future Gohan. And once again the announcer ended it 🔥🔥🔥.
Krillin, while holding the andriod he was supposed to destroy to stop Cell from reaching his perfect form: Please, isn't there any way out of all of this?! We've done too much for this world for it all to end this way. My guy risked all of existence being destroyed for some pussy, and now he wants to try and do something?? 😆
*I need this false narrative that Goku was a bad Father to stop. This episode is clearly a further depiction of how much he loves and encourages his Son. We also can't forget that fact that he literally died for his Son on multiple occasion's. Great reaction y'all!*
Bro the end gets me so teary eyed Goku loves his son so much Goku was there in spirit and the craziest part is that the arm that is badly wounded is the same arm Future Gohan that is wounded in trunks timeline 😢😢 Gohan was able to live the life and become strong in another life and that is what trunks wanted
Cell's trifecta really was so broken. Imagine if HE spent 3 months "training". Boom, regen, Zenkai... now think about 10 years. He'd have been Maximum Overcell, 🍵 🎒'd Beerus and Zeno with his eyes closed.
It’s even more dope because gohan would eventually learn how to do a one hand kamehameha because in the movie history of trunks. Future gohan knows how to do it. Also goku knew it was possible because he did it against king piccolo when he was a kid.
I think the reason Cell killed Trunks in the previous episode was because he knew he was only threat left there besides Gohan of course thay could possibly cause him trouble.
Now i realize trunks has miss the most epic beam clash of time. Yah i want to be like a saiyan but there's always an ups and down side of being one and same goes with humans. Sure we can make life better but also destroy at the same time cause we have huge ego's and we can't try to make everyone feel safe and humble everyone. Also its funny how dr. gero never knew 17 and 18 can get stronger as now they gotten way stronger since the cell games. But man sometimes this is why i don't want to become a scientist and rich at the same time. You'll just become a mad man after you know what you can do.
Not in this version. Linda Young isn't voicing Baba here. Her voice is very recognisable but it's not her. They changed some of the actors for the minor characters in the newer Funimation Dub.
That was just a mistake on Piccolos part. Plus Cell used the solar Flare attack to get away. Vegeta on the other hand, purposely allowed Cell to reach his perfect form and Krillin put the world at risk for some tail....lol
@@etc5xx You don't just take a direct hit that leaves you a bloody mess with a crippled arm and not suffer a substantial amount of power loss. Whether it was actually half or not is irrelevant. His power most definitely wasn't at maximum after that. There's also the fact that Goku was merely trying to distract Gohan from his injuries by encouraging him. He knows damn well that a chunk of his power took a dip, but feeding into that would just reinforce Gohan's doubt.
@@Manatsujeki "Whether it was actually half or not is irrelevant." it's not irrelevant, it was the entire point of the discussion, he thought his power was cut in HALF, it wasnt. you're going on about other irrelevant things like him being "not being at maximum" like no sht lmao
Im still pissed off that gohan at that period of time was at his peak And since then he wasnt the same gohan they super nerf him badly Do he had epic moments yess ofcourse but as his journey continued the great toriyama didn't progress his character much in term of his lore
