They re-recorded some of the vocals and laid it over the DVD. That's why some vocals sound more live and some are studio. They did this to the whole DVD. The OOC tour DVD was all live.
I do not, in any way, believe that you reserve the right to criticize the person you replied to as being a 'sheep'. I generally like soul/jazz music, but these girls are great performance, and personality wise, and i think you should respect that. Sorry, for the long reply, i just had so many things to say i couldn't shorten it.
You are right, nudity doesn't make a song, however these girls have more going for them than there looks. These are gorgeous girls, true, but they also have personality, and music is a lot to do with personality. I am by no means a sheep, I don't usually like pop music in terms of just 'singers' who are inappropriate or behave badly and aren't good role models at all, however i respect these ladies for their attitudes (bar sarah's and nadine's sometimes) and their determination...
the Tangled Up tour was just visually stunning. from the lighting, the staging, the costumes, the hairstyles and even the gems to accompany their makeup, everything about the look of this particular tour is spot on. unfortunately, when it comes to the audio editing of this DVD release, it is just all sorts of awful. terrible filtering on the vocals, sloppy work on splicing different post-recordings together, and pretty bad balancing. so unfortunate that the audio portion of this is just so bad, this could have made for an amazing documentation of this fantastic tour. they did make pretty big improvements on the Out of Control tour release and even better with the Ten tour release
First of all, I would like to begin by saying that I think you generalize too much, Although i agree that the comment made towards you was rude, I think you are wrong in terms of saying that people who listen to this music are shallow. I like real singers, beautiful, powerful and emotional singers, however i also love Girls Aloud because of their personality that they give the song, and the fun. They can be emotional as well, have you heard Whole Lotta History? Continued...
@lemonnis ok ... Monrose: FINE looking. Good singers. Great video production (shame their Monroseblog RU-vid channel is such AWFUL quality) - songs a bit too generic Euro-electro for my tastes.
Cheryl can't sing anywhere near this good anymore. A lot of the girls have looked after their voices but she just mimes in every single gig i see her do
@lemonnis They don't look "ordinary" by any sane standard. They sing reasonably well apart from Nicola who is chronic in this example. They just don't play or write anything which is seemingly of no import to 90% of the UK public who just like things they can sing along to in the car/pub/shower. Not terribly high brow, but then, neither was Hitler.
@lemonnis Each culture has its own tat and its own genius. I rather suspect that exports of British culture outweigh those of about 99% of countries on earth. Helped in no small part by the reach of the language. I was joking about Hitler because of your other conversation. I'm a bit surprised you didn't realise because of the sheer absurdity of it. Note: one of our better cultural exports is humour. Now to get back on topic, I shall sample these bands you speak of and declare my verdict.
lol, u r funny, mate! I just gave a silly responce to ur silly comment..u r the one who started with the nazi thing, i was only talking about GA and taste in MUSIC...so i repeat, GA sing and look awfull, like a karake band, and since it is so popular in the UK i am shocked by the british taste in music..now wih the nazis i have nothing to do and i think they were terrible and mad, but here we are talking about music
