We all know that flirting plays a huge role in the dating scene. When we go out on dates it's a given that some level of flirting would be initiated either by the man or the woman. It's often a cause of frustration for our singles out there, actively seeking a partner either for short-term or long-term relationships. It would probably have done us lots of good if flirting was taught at school. Obviously that is not the case so we have to learn this skill all on our own, yikes! In the video's case, I probably think that at least in my case the "Initiating chat or text" is most difficult. I was and sometimes still having problems with this due to my mood or misunderstanding. Something I learned from it "If you aren't in the mood of talking or you are angry, just don't even touch the god damn phone please". That's because when we have a pending message from a girl we like, we of course think that we are giving a good impression but in reality... Most woman can detect change on a man's behaviour easier than we can, it's in their nature.

I have walked away from women who tried that because I found it to be disrespectful and it just made me angry. You want a lasting relationship? I’ve heard about this jealousy game, and tbh I don’t care for it one bit. As a woman I just don’t want to show the guy how little he matters to me by flirting with others. It’s just not ok. In case that specifically happend to you or anyone else: Sometimes it isn't obvious for us boys to understand the way women pronounce their fillings, the male brain is programmed from birth to keep only the great words or compliments a girl says. Even if she backs away a bit or she drops signs that she is in a relationship, we may just ignore them COMPLETELY. What am saying is that "We may never discover a clue that she is in a relationship because we are not sure if she is because she doesn't drop any signs about their boyfriend, or we just don't have the confidence to ask her after we learn quite some things about her". However, no matter what "Bad things come together, but the good always stays in spotlight". Keep your head up and walk!

All these signs were fine 40 years ago. Today paying attention to these signs is a good way to get arrested. Here's an idea ladies, stop flirting, be an adult and try telling the guy you want to get to know them. I was accused of harrassment by a woman who was showing some of these signs. Turned out she was just playing mind games, wasn't at all interested. My mistake. Now I just assume they are just being friendly. Its the only safe move.

Sounds like if a woman is noticing, and showing extra care to the small details, she is flirting. Trying to make a man jealous isn't a way to help him show caring. It's frustrating, and when a woman is upset with a man because he is jealous, it's something that he won't make a difference on. The stress of not commenting about being jealous, or being told there is no reason to feel the way he is, even though she is making it be so. Either way, he is wrong.

Regarding the "ask her directly": my experience is that women who like you will not say so when asked directly. Quite the opposite, they will say whatever comes to mind, except the truth about their attraction to you. They may even say they don't like you (at least not as a potential boyfriend), but keep on sending signals that they actually _do_ like you... And then they complain that men loose interest in them.

I thought nothing of this, other than that she wanted to move these form her parents house (where I picked her up) to her own house, where I expected to drop her off. But after the party she wanted to go to my place, including the mattress and bed clothes. Once in my place, she invited me to share the mattress with her. I can't interpret any of these actions as other than signs of interest in me, as something else than as a friend. But I am open to being corrected.

I accidentally led a girl on. She would make eye contact with me and smile so I would return a smile to be nice. Unfortunately not interested in her. The worst part is she approached me and gave me a random compliment. I realized too late what was going on and had to avoid looking at her...wasnt sure how else to let her down. After watching this video and reading many of these comments, I feel that a little perspective is needed. Joyanima is not saying, "This is what is right and why aren't you paying attention to us," she is saying, "These are the female tendencies of which you should be aware, because of how women tend to instinctively communicate." She isn't saying that all of these are correct. She even looms uncomfortable, to me, when talking about the "make him jealous" part. This isn't about what is correct; it is about communication, so that men can make a more informed decision as to whether or not to react. And, of course, women all being I individuals, any particular situation could be WAY off, too.

As an unnattractive man I could never spot social cues because I had developed low self esteem from years of rejection. After a failed marriage and girlfriends I don't care any more. I don't feel lonely. I fear being in a relationship with rules and expectations. Life has too many challenges as it is, coming home and wondering what I did wrong why is she upset? I am reading all these comments of guys that are defensive. I am with them. Only a quality woman will do genuine flirting, meaning to lead to a healthy relationship. And I am trying to understand... They'll just wish you luck with the other guy! Not because they're not (very) interested, but because they don't like to see the one they fancy, fawning over some other guy! (What if you're just ike that? Will you still fawn over other guys when we're dating/in a relationship? We don't know... [ Mind you, male friends are usually no problem, as long as they are securely friendzoned! ] ) There are other ways to find out if they're seriously interested! And im not the jealous type so I don't like making the guy I like jealous. I actually don't like jealous guys because i have a lot of guy friends (they are securely friendzoned and they never made any advances). Jealous is not of my traits and dont want to even try. It's a nasty feeling so why would i intentionally inflict it to the person I like just to validate his feelings? we're good in that area.
