You always light up whenever you spotted Sunny 🤭. SNSD is one of those rare group where they can sing and perform beautifully whether they are 9 or 8. A group needs all hands on deck to make it work and not just depending on 1 or 2 members. 16 years together and counting is no easy feat 👏👏

Indestructible was released a couple months before Jessica's sudden departure with their Japan Best Of album and Divine was the repackage which came out like two weeks after Jessica left. There is a lot of evidence that Jessica was supposed to go on a hiatus after their Tokyo Dome concert (which was set for two months after she left, at the beginning of December 2014) so those two songs were more "we love each other we are forever" than most of their other songs, then to have her out of the group unexpectedly probably makes those songs more emotional for them. The performances you watched of Not Alone and All My Love Is For You were from their Tokyo Dome concert. Indestructible was from their last concert tour, Phantasia (the Japan leg) which ran from the end of 2015 to early 2016. I think that song is emotional for them anyway because of the circumstances surrounding it, but also just to have so many fans still supporting them after what had happened the year prior with Jessica leaving and all they went through was probably pretty emotional for them as well. Before them, there weren't really any girl groups who lasted past the 7 year mark, much less stayed active and super successful like they were. All of these were great performances to react to, but I REALLY recommend checking out their performance of All My Love Is For You from their Love & Peace tour (their 3rd Japan tour). It's an acoustic version of the song with live vocals and it is HEAVENLY. I'd also recommend the performance of Indestructible from Tokyo Dome (they're wearing pink feathery dresses). And they've performed Catch Me If You Can a few times, in their Phantasia concert, at KCON NY in 2015, on Music Core, and at Live Monster in Japan (I think Music Core was live, I'm not sure about the others/some were dubbed over in post). They have another song called Fire Alarm that was part of their Phantasia concert, that would be fun to check out as well, it's a bop.

First of all, I love how you light up when you see Sunny. I'm a Sunshiner so I love to see it! Secondly, I agree with others that the 3rd Japan Tour "All My Love is For You" performance is a must watch. Amazing vocal performance. Thirdly, a lot of people are recommending "Into the New World" ballad version which is devastating and emotional but I think you should wait until you watch more them and get to know them better. Fourth, getting to know them better means you need to watch some of their variety shows, interviews, lives, viral moments, them just clowning around, etc. Since there's so much content, clips and compilations are the best way to start. Their chaotic personalities and sisterly bond are part of their charm and why so many people fell in love with them. Come for the music, stay for the crazy! Truly a special group. SNSD is one of the best live vocal group ever. snsd are the queens of ballads. their Japanese discography is untouchable. they will always be THE GIRL GROUP.
How is it possible that more of y'all are not recommending the live version of Complete? :( It was included on their first album way back when, and when SNSD remember it exists and sing it once every decade, there's not a dry eye in the house. If you're checking out their Japanese discography, I highly recommend their first Japanese album, namely You-aholic, I'm in Love With the Hero, and Let It Rain.

I'm still cant forgive the fact that when I finished school and started making my own money is the time that SNSD become "inactive" or busy with their individual business/work :( Their concerts looks magical, their live performances were top notch.
I recommend you to check out some performances for their B-sides. Some popular ones between fans are The Great Scape, Karma Butterfly, Express 999, Show Girls, T.O.P, Reflection, Animal... SNSD is such a special group 💜 Also i need to say this, many people will recommend Into The New World's Ballad version but I think you shouldn't react to that before get to know them more. Maybe you can do a SNSD subunit special. TaeTiSeo is their vocal focused subunit. You already reacted to Oh!GG but they have one more song. SHY is their unofficial subunit BUT we still want this to be official.

I mean, true, but where would you find a voice with the quality and feeing of Taeyeon? It’s a special tone/register that just stands out, but it’s not just her, it’s the feeling and synergy of them all together. So there are groups that have great singers, and even good connections, but it doesn’t feel the same. SNSD were a special type of magic that fit that time

None of these lives had Jessica actually. "Not Alone" and "All My Love Is For You" are both from their Tokyo Dome concert that took place mere weeks after Jessica's sudden departure. "Indestructible" is from their Phantasia tour that started about a year later. They did struggle quite a bit in some of the performances in Tokyo Dome ("Into The New World ballad version", "Divine" for ex) and Sunny was one of the members most visibly shaken by that situation, so if her energy seemed off, that's the reason. Things were still pretty raw for Phantasia and singing about being unbreakable after what happened must have been weird and all but that performance was also close to the end of the concert, so there was a bit of exhaustion and sentimentality because of that as well. I don't think it was intentional, but all of your picks come from the same era. "Divine" was their last release with Jessica. It was a single they prepared for Tokyo Dome concerts. There were rumors going around that Jess wanted to take a break after those concerts (permanent or not) and that single and her special teary-eyed "we are always one" moment in the MV were to support her soft exit but something went wrong and she was dismissed before concerts in the manner that took everyone out guard. I don't know how much of that is true but it definitely was a popular sentiment at the time. There is nothing wrong with the performances you picked for this reaction but there is one more performance of "All My Love Is For You" you may want to check out since you seem to enjoy the song. It's hard to watch Divine again as Jessica was my bias for almost two years before she was abruptly kicked out of the group. Watching members cry at other concerts or fan meets doesn't allow me to believe that it was her choice voluntarily. It was disappointing that her fashion company has recently been going through difficulties and could be going bankrupt if they can't pay on loans. The blend of her voice with Taeyeon and Tiffany was always something special to me.

About'Divine'MV I think this should this is the last official release with all 9 members (alongside 'Indestructible', another emotional song). 'Divine' was released during the same period Jessica got left the group, late-september and early-october of 2014. BTW:I legit CRIED when I first saw DIVINE! My heart was aching! All snsd songs before j got kicked out are same or some even better(e.g. in line distribution) with 8 girls. Sunny, yuri, sooyoung nailed every j part they cover and TTS are master in adlib and highnote, those who say otherwise is either j fans cosplaying as sone or a sone that ill informed and still stuck in 2014
U miss the chance to check for the OT9 live performances for Not Alone and All My Love is For You. The one where they were on pink dress was very beautiful to watch and listen. Taeyeon is Taeyeon but that last "alone" is really different feels from Jessica. And the adlibs for All My Love is For You is really something else.
