I was waiting for you to get to this man. This is the MV that almost knocked Sunny out of her BW spot for me in favor of Sooyoung. So I knew that you, as a Sooyoung stan, would uh.... appreciate this one. It might have happened if they weren't just all so hot in this one. Just as a side note, in the originally-released MV, after doing the splits and rolling onto her back with her feet in the air, Seohyun _opened her legs._ I wish I'd downloaded it. Korean broadcast authorities objected, and the choreo was changed for live stages and edited out of the MV.

Just curious, did you understand the apple references in SNSD's "You Think" MV? in Korean the word for apple and the word for apology are spelled the same, so its a common joke that when you want to apologize to someone you give them an apple. So how I interpret the apple references in this MV is like this: One of the apples has nails in it, so the girls are telling the guy " ... you think you're real cool ... coming to me begging for me to forgive you, but I am not accepting your apology." And the silver apple you see, I interpret as being like a led apple which might mean that "your apology may look and sound pretty, but it hits like a piece of led, with no substance and it sounds hollow ... it doesn't sound like you truly are sorry," etc.

Messages in the video? In Korean, the word for "apple" sounds a lot like the word for "forgive" or "forgiveness". It's a common visual trope in movies or dramas. You look at the apples in the MV, and I think you can gauge how the ladies are feeling in that regard...

But it becomes "our" matter as fans because the event impacted their creative output. Not to mention divided the fandom as surely as it divided the group. How would "Lion Heart", "Party", and "All Night" have sounded like with Sica? Would there have been other songs? If OT9 had continued, would it still have split into Oh!GG plus soloists? There is just so much that _could have been,_ and that loss is mourned as much as merely one member.
