Besides, even he _did_ write something about Ryan, it's none of our business unless he says "yes, that is what this song about". That is the only time you have the right to talk about his private life. Now, that being said, this is a beautiful song - one of my favorites - and his voice is perfection. Love you Brendon. :-)

I've been dying to hear this ever since this song came out in 2013 im so glad they finally made it

For the record I’m pretty sure this song is about Brendon’s first threesome experience thus the name girls/girls/boys. Also because brendon was not married at this time (and even if he was in a relationship, that doesn’t mean he didn’t have a threesome) On another note, Brendon’s voice is absolutely beautiful. It’s amazing seen how much he’s progressed in his vocals.

I've heard this song more times than I could ever keep track of, and I don't think I'll ever be sick of it. Honestly, I was a little iffy about listening to the acoustic version, just because it's got the funky sort of electro-ish music. But this...this is the more absolutely gorgeous than I could have ever imagined. Why did I ever doubt this???

If the song is about a gay girl turning him down and he was depressed about it enough to write a song about it then it completely makes sense while playing it to look sad.
