I had a similar situation. Once i met a guy on Discord, and we were very similar to each other: We both liked Strategy games, we both loved to fantasize and create the whole different worlds just for fun. The only problem that we had a big age distance. I am almost 13, and he is 18+. However that didn't interfered our friendly messaging and stuff. Yet, after some time he got depressed because of the people nowadays. Regardless of his age there wasn't much people who actually liked him. I think that's because he had autism. (Weird, i liked him, maybe people just suck) It seems i was THE ONLY person who actually cared about him, however we talked on Discord (After i said the truth about my age my account got disabled, so we talked in different ways.) So basically i was just a spirit because i can only help him mentally but not physically. Even his family didn't like him, basically he was alone with the voices in the head (me). I did told him: "Don't worry, everything will be okay soon.", "This is not the way.", "You should wait for your chance." And etc. It didn't helped him much, all he did is lying in his room, stressed. A lot of friends already backstabbed him. But not me. I couldn't sleep because he was so sad, I cannot even imagine how hard it is to not go (you know yourself) after all bad things happened. After like 6 months my careful words finally made it's job. He found someone, who was, as he said, literally him but woman. I was happy about it, he finally got something good after all that happened. If i could teleport, i would sit near my friend and talk to him all day, just to make him feel better.
