This is false and NY is possibly the worst of them all when it comes to pushing the liberal agenda on kids. The cons most certainly outweigh any pros of spending most of your day with bad influences and distractions so you can "learn how to deal with crazy people". There's no data at all to suggest people who go to public school end up better adjusted later on in life. It's just a cope some people tell themselves to feel better about it. You can learn those skills much more efficiently by something like mixed martial arts training or getting them a customer service job while they are young. Its possible to learn how to deal with idiots and bad influences without spending most of the day of your most critical years around them. The best thing you can teach kids about bad people is to avoid them. Not to force them to be peers with them in their most critical years.
