It can take a while to get all stuff to stage , i prefer to use bitbucket or even host my own git server.

Alexander Freelancer I definitely hear what you are saying. It’s easier for me to use GitHub but yeah it gets expensive if you have a lot of stuff that you want to share

Wrong. Not working in 2020. Getting error " The destination path already exists and is not an empty folder". If I select an empty flder- there's an error "Sourcetree was unable to create repository".

Not wrong. Had this issue too when I selected "Create Remote Repository". Deselect that > Add the repo locally via your project folder > Go to Remotes > Add > (I'm using Github, so) Select your Github account (add it to sourcetree if you haven't already). "Remote Name" will be the name of the main branch. "URL" needs to be the URL to the remote repo, so create the repo on github first, then link it, then push your local repo to it.
