Back in the 1980s and 90s I used a ladder tripod to do much of my architecture work on 4x5 film. Many of those photos were used in my books on architecture including "Painted Ladies" books on Victorian homes, 11 books on bungalows, and books on Spanish and Storybook homes.
Although the ladder tripod has no markings indicating a manufacturer I have found an advertisement of a Gitzo Ladder Tripod for sale in a Los Angeles in 1976. The ladder tripod was invaluable when shooting residential architecture as it gave me an elevated and more correct perspective.
