Bulldust to your “All Men are Equal” in your Constitution ! Indians are Men and Women ! No rights of Equality for them , never was ! You are Hypocrites !
Great video! Was surprised to know that Mr Curtis started a trailer even before my 1947 model. He must have been into trailers before or alongside making planes.
With the advent of cellular technology, RVs are more than a vacation item or a home on wheels. They are business offices. Unfortunately, that has helped increase the cost of RV parks. RV park owners are getting a bit greedy because they can attract more wealthy travelers. This also has the effect of increasing prices in the less popular RV parks. And that has resulted in more lower income travelers becoming suburban nuisances, especially in Southern California. It's all fun and games until someone gets greedy.
This is such an amazing history and documentary of RVs and camp trailers! We have owned a travel trailer and now for over 8 years a 2000 bluebird Wanderlodge . I have never known the history but have always loved the thought and camping in the travel trailer and motorhomes. I’ve always had the wanderlust bug. Happy travels and thank you ! I wouldn’t change a thing with your documentary. This is an era that isn’t faux Hollywood ! I think it’s great the way it is.
Ok, again I'm not trying to hate, but watched/listened to the whole film tonight, and though I found some interesting facts, the narrative really needs a rewrite. Your voice isn't bad for narration, but hiring that done may help some. However, your voice does match those 50s and 60s travelog (sp) films I recall. If you're going for a retro feel I get it though. Oh and never quit making films. You're not half bad at it.
Not hating at all. I love vintage RVs and their history, but this is really dull. A narrative rewrite and minimize use of still pics when none are needed. I did make it through the first 5 minutes though, but that's abt all. Just my 2 1/2 cents
I just had a hankering for a tastee and found this. I now live over a thousand miles away, but years ago I just lived up the street. Used to get these all the time. Luckily I have the original recipe from Jug that was published by T Triple B. I have to make them this weekend. In honor of Tastee Inn and Out!
Loved the original place when it was a simple drive inn with car hops. I lived on Holdrege at east edge of the now Burger King. I just had to walk out our front door and cross Holdrege walk down the alley and on to the Tastee lot. I always ordered a #2 with extra Tastee and a chocolate shake.
I mean no disrespect but I don't like watching videos where they just play music I like to watch when people will give you the history or tell you the story of the place when you're not from anywhere close to this it doesn't do you much good you don't know what you're looking at
