Jimmy garbage cans that size are for neighborhood pick up. Regular pick will not take large containers. you have to set appointment for them to take large pile of trash.

Call your refuse company to schedule bulk pickup removal...or see if they have scheduled bulk pickup times. Most refuse companies don't take bulk items with trash pickup...because those trucks use trash compactors.

I hate Walmart, but what was that dude thinking he was doing with a cart full of groceries and I am assuming he was riding that bicycle. Unless he was going to load it into someone's vehicle and then ride away on the bike. Then how was he thinking he'd get all that loaded up and left before police arrived? Sheesh.

I sympathize with the garbage can dilemma. I have 3 Rubbermaid cans that have no wheels or handles anymore. They will not stand by themselves either. So I stacked the three and laid them next to and surrounded by the rest of the garbage. This, my finest and latest effort, also failed.

Not that anyone in his staff will see this, but in my city you have to call because it's a separate truck for items that can't fit in your garbage can. Since they are trash cans I can imagine they'd be reluctant to take them since they are next to your garbage cans. Or wait till they disintegrate on their own outside. Eventually everything will get returned to the Earth. 😜

I had that happen to me with an old trash can. I kept sitting it out week after week, and the damn thing was still there. Even taped a note on it with BIG LETTERS "TAKE ME PLEASE. I AM OLD and WANT TO BE WITH MY PEOPLE" Nope, they STILL didn't take it. So alas, the deceased trash can is still with us. Haunting us forever.

I remember when I first learned about the electoral college, probably in middle school,,,, I felt so cheated! I was always told in school that my vote mattered, and I would be directly responsible for putting a president in office. I was so furious!

Same. Finding out there's a shorter way to do division, that there's no Santa, and the finding out how the electoral college college works are the 3things in life that really messed me up. The electoral college thing being the WORST by far.

@@foreversocal1 it was that dramatic for ME. In 2016, my state voted for Hillary(the popular vote) bit the electoral college said "Meh, we're gonna vote for Trump anyway". I didn't even know they could do that! It did go to Supreme Court. They were told if they ever do it again, they'd be fined $1,500 (couch cushion change for THEM). They didn't pull that again for 2020 (thank goodness) but anyway, that's when I learned how it really works. I lost all faith.
